Beautiful teaching...I still remember my New Birth on Valentine's Day 2019...When God in His Majesty led me to a Bible that day and then to John 1:1-14. God had been "drawing me" to Christ, but l didn't really know who He was. I hadn't been to church since my teens and there was not one Born Again believer in my life. So when l read "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" l cried out to God and said "l don't understand this, Who or what is "The Word?" God urged me on. Finally v14 "And the Word became flesh and dwelt amongst us..." And The Holy Spirit showed me Christ. My life was forever changed that day. I was weeping in Joy, and sobbing in shame before a Thrice Holy God. All my past sins suddenly haunted me. I knew something profound happened that day ..but l wasn't sure what until l was driven into the scriptures and shown by the Holy Spirit. I had been REDEEMED. The King of Kings called my Name. Praise, Honor and Glory to the Thrice Holy God. I was also introduced to the Holy Spirit, whom l had not known. Nothing is better than the gift l had received. Ezekiel 36:25-27. 📖👑✝️🐑

I first heard the doctrine Predestination, the late Pastor, R.C. Sproul, 6 years ago. A child unto then had never heard a sermon and teaching on Predestination. I did know, because He knew me and loved me, first, before he created me. I embraced Predestination doctrine. Matthew 7:7-8 King James Version 7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. 29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. Jesus preaching, teaching the Gospel, Predestination. Jesus, “having authority, and not as the scribes”. God’s Plan. All God’s Plan - from Predestined to Glorification. Who here advocates or argues taking away any of God’s Word, His Plan. Matthew 7:28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: Be not dismayed by Predestination, be astonished- God’s Plan. “The Predestination didn’t make me think on my own predestination, it is why I so badly need it, He loved me first”. The horrible teaching of "say the sinners prayer and you are saved" has fooled so very many. A dreadfully sad situation and I have heard someone say this very thing "I tried God but it didn't work". Tragic. But God WILL call those whom He has predestined even if they were originally deceived by that "prayer". Praying that the gospel will be preached and souls saved, that God will raise up evangelists to go out in the highways and byways to preach. Amen 🙏❤️🇦🇺

@Ligonier, any advice on how to answer someone who then says, "So God predestined everyone else to be lost..?" I can understand an answer that says "predestination only applies to those who are destined to be saved" but then, by default, everyone else was created to be lost. This may indeed be true but is is hard to accept - created for damnation. Thanks.

3:11 No, you don’t understand what the Bible is teaching ABOUT predestination. The NT authors are correcting the Jews’ errant theology that says God only predestines/loves/blesses SOME people. When in reality he blesses/loves/chooses ALL people. No one is left out. And that is why so many Christians come up and tell you they don’t believe in [your view on ] predestination.

Your talk on predestination has an ad from people who don't believe in it. Wesley was predestinated to write a hymn that contradicted his own bad theology
