Yes, heaven is essentially the immediate presence of God. And when we are on the new earth for eternity, it will be heaven on earth.

If Hell is separation from God, then Heaven must be the opposite. We seem to be looking for gold, diamonds and the rest of all the material things. "...and no man hath ascended into Heaven except He which came down from Heaven, even the Son of Man which is IN Heaven." None of us seem to know what Heaven will be like. If we are re-connected to Him, we are IN heaven already, ("I am the resurrection") and most don't even realize it.😳 If we reject Him, we are in Hell already, and don't even know it.😓
