Wow. I was not expecting a video like this to be the first real video I make in almost a year. I've had so many ideas for other videos that I was planning on doing but never got around to. Let's see if I can't change that and start uploading again. Also, Yeah these definitely aren't real "predictions". I don't expect any of the crazy stuff to be true, but I wanted to at least share my weird ideas before they actually reveal what the mode is about in that trailer in a few hours.

Part of me is hopeful, the other part of me says Toadette will just be ported from Mario Maker 2 to Bowser’s Fury and be the only new playable character I love the idea of Jr. being playable sm

I'm actually not expecting any new characters to show up. Although Toadette seems likely at first glance, it starts to fall apart when you think about it more. -Toadette doesn't have a special ability. There is no reason to keep her in if she is just a clone of Toad, so they'd have to think of a new gimmick for her. I guess they could always mix other characters' abilities, and make her an "Easy Mode", however. -It doesn't work with the plot of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. At the end of the Wii U version of Treasure Tracker, it is revealed that the game was a prequel to 3D World. We see Captain Toad enter the clear pipe after Mario & Co, so Toadette would only make sense if she was unlocked later in the game. I guess it could happen, but I feel like Nintendo is just gonna stick to the 5 characters already in the game and not add any more.
