Predicting Chapter 1 Of James Gunn's DCU!

I am going over every DC movie and show releasing in the next 10 years and when I think they will come out. This is essentially my slate prediction for Chapter 1 of the DCU which is titled Gods and Monsters. Going over movies like James Gunn's Superman (2025), Joker 2, Peacemaker Season 2, Creature Commandos Season 1, and so much more!

i would swap Lanterns and Paradise Lost, im sure they’re already working on Paradise Lost, but it sounds like they’re basically done with the script for Lanterns. so casting will probably take place this summer, production maybe early next year. also if i have to wait until 2029 to get a Teen Titans film i’m throwing hands

I still feel like Wonder Woman should get her own solo movie before the eventual first justice league movie. Like understand benching the flash for a little bit and have his first appearance in like a justice league movie but Wonder Woman needs her own solo movie before the first justice league movie

I agree, I think a Wonder Woman movie is a must. I went with just the titles they have given us this time around though unlike the Marvel slate video. I think maybe the movie before Justice League though? What do you think?

@@MasonTheNerdReviews yeah I def think we should get a solo Wonder Woman movie before a justice league movie. But here’s the thing I feel like every year there needs to be at least one movie that most of the GA will hyped for. Yes characters like supergirl, swamp thing, authority are cool to me and I would def go watch it but let’s face it the general audience don’t really care or know them like that and given the state that dc is in they can’t afford to take risks. With that in mind here’s what I think 2025: Superman the main block buster of the year 2026: super girl, lanterns, booster gold, and the Batman 2. The Batman 2 will be the block buster of the year of 2026 with supergirl being the 2nd. 2027: the authority, paradise lost, Arkham, brave and the bold. Like I said u need at least one major block buster of the year and unfortunately the authority is not that. 2028: teen titans and swamp thing. Teen titans will be your block buster of 2028. 2029: Wonder Woman will be your block buster. I would also add in a nightwing hbo max tv show cause of 2 reasons. 1. He deserves it. A nightwing tv show for hbo can literally be marvels version of daredevil for Disney plus. 2. A series on nightwing is still Batman content before brave and the bold eventual sequel. Cause it’s gonna be a while for brave and the bold to get a sequel cause Matt reeves would probably be working on finishing the 3rd Batman movie for his trilogy. 2030: this is where u do an mcu phase 3 and really start to ramp up the projects. So Superman sequel early 2030. Justice league summer of 2030. Finally October of 2030 the reeves Batman trilogy comes to a close with its 3rd movie. Lastly for season 2s of tv shows that u can fill in the gaps lol.
