​​@@duality4739It's not free... Do the bare minimum of research on a topic. Also every prisoner doing it is participating willingly. Because it helps them get less years on their sentence.(Obviously not every prisoner is eligible to do this job) I'd say programs like this are huge for rehabilitation. Also puts burdens on society to work for the greater good. They also are mainly doing the less dangerous jobs like digging ditches and putting out small fire remnants. They aren't trained for the big stuff like regular firefighters.

I don’t understand how Jake doesn’t see the Bregman to Detroit fit. The Tigers are lefty heavy, actually need a 3B unlike Boston, and are also in the need of some veteran leadership in the clubhouse. It’s essentially the perfect fit. People have to stop assuming Comerica Park is like a death sentence for hitters. It’s not. Plenty of hitters have had amazing careers there for Detroit already. Big market bias is what this is.

Vlad is going to the mets next offseason so the Mets are not hard locking to Alonso at all. I think Pete knows that too. I guess the question is whats any different next offseason? Pete would be the 2nd ranked 1B and much older than a vlad. So where does he sign on with assuming Vlad is a met. I dont see the jays going after him. Will the yankees wanna pay Alonso 30M a year next year? Idk And as a Jays fan. Just need to say. Us Canadians and multiculturalism go hand in hand. A Sasaki in Canada fit makes perfect sense. Culturally he would be missing nothing that he would have at home and honestly the weather etc is basically the same as where he is from. Add in the Rogers conversation and how they could link up with Japanese media and you have a REALLY strong fit.

Roki is hilarious almost as funny as Ohtani plane to Toronto. Why would you want to sign with a team that lost its top pitcher, going to trade another and probably lose another next year.
