Would suck if the Ritz Carlton went away as then Chase would not have a card that can potentially compete with the Bonvoy Brilliant. It would be good for them to keep just for that purpose.

If Citi gets the exclusive credit card relationship with American, do you think that AA will become a transfer partner for the Citi Thank You points?

I have Prestige, 2 IHG Selects, but not Venture One with that feature. I also have plain no AF Aviator, to which I was able to downgrade from Red. I was converted to Red from US Airways card, which was giving 10k miles annually, but then it was discontinued. Do you think it's worth to try to convert to Silver? I mainly fly AA, and I have AA Executive card. I just checked and I have an offer to upgrade to Red. Some other great discontinued cards, which I have: Citi AT&T Access More, Priceline 2x (3.33%), and Sears TYP. Sears is a real gem! I got SYWR card in 2018 and immediately converted to Sears.

Ritz is great for those that don’t have the venture X - still not bad for those that do given the 85k cert but they’re really only useful if you have two of them

The altitude Reserve is literally why I have kept my Samsung Galaxy s20 and when it dies I will probably replace it with a refurb because it's the last Model they made with magnetic tap to pay. And in my experience there are significant number of vendors that don't have NFC payments
