I realized this shortly before uploading the video, but I forgot to talk about Pokemon Legends: ZA! I'm terribly sorry, for some reason it just flew over me, so I'll add my thoughts about it here! Overall, I'm very certain that this will be another launch title for the next console, as it was announced a couple of months ago, and unlike Pokemon games usually, this one's not releasing the same year as it got unveiled! But, it would still likely be early in that case I believe, so yeah!

Pokemon Legends Arceus was revealed in the same way, same timeframe out. pokemon tends to hold out for a while before moveing onto the next console.Pokemon Ultra sun and Ultra moon released in 2017, and sword and shield were originaly made for the 3ds before being moved to the switch. Legends ZA will not be a launch title. gen 10 will likely be within the first 2 years of the system unless they choose to make gen 10 semi optomized. (pokemon company letting gamefreak finish the pokemon games chalenge. impossible)

How about Nintendo Attach & Switch, which confuse the consumer less. I think they can have camera and VR head-strap for this new system besides attaching a screen to it.

If its actually called the "switch attach" and it looks similar to the switch, just with two screens, people are going to think it is a 2nd attachment screen to the switch, and we are going to have another wii-wiiu situation

Technology is evolving so fast, I hope the Nintendo Switch 2 doesn’t fail like the Wii U. I still remember the original Nintendo Switch commercials.

it was so fast in the 90s from 286 cpu with 15 MHz in 1990 to pentium 4 1500 MHz in 2000, and from 1 mb ram to 500 mb ram it don't evolves so fast today

“Tech is evolving so fast” yet all the games still look like ps3 ps4 but with higher frame rate. I think switch 2 will be fine. Devs these days lack the talent and competence to take advantage of the rapidly evolving tech.

3D Mario could come sooner than Holiday 2025. Like you pointed out, the last actual 3D Mario was Odyssey in 2017. Unlike the first Switch, we won’t have a new Zelda game ready for this system’s launch, as Tears of the Kingdom launched last year. 3D Mario team has, at this point, had nearly 7 years to work on a new game… Super Mario 64 and Galaxy took 2-3 years to make, and Odyssey took 3-4 years to produce, so 7 years is A LOT of time to make a gigantic 3D Mario adventure with increased visual fidelity. The same exact thing can be said for new Mario Kart.

I would love to see Wario Land return on the next Nintendo system. Wario Land 4 is one of my favorite games ever, and while Shake It on Wii still had some charm, it didn't quite live up to 4 for me.

Given how much of a phenomenon the Nintendo Direct format has become from the Switch alone, I can totally see them making a super special Nintendo Direct later in the year to announce the system itself.

I agree with you about a new Mario Party game for the Switch for this holiday season. It's not a high budget release, so selling a few million copies before the new console arrives will be profitable for Nintendo.

For the next Mario Kart, I would like some more battle type modes. Something like what CTR had for their Switch release. I'd also like an online hub world of a decent size so you could drive around customizing your car in actual dealerships or whatever, instead of doing it all through menus. It's just difficult to upgrade worthy of a $60 purchase over 8D unless you add in a lot more features. 3D Mario, I hope it is more Odyssey style than Bowzer's Fury. A open world would be cool though.

Thanks!! I was thinking of mentioning another Smash Bros. game, but I also thought that Ultimate already seems like the most "perfect" game there is for the franchise, and assuming we have backwards compatibility, I think this series will have to wait a bit more until a new installment (unless perhaps, we get a remake of Melee or the original N64 game maybe)!

@@AlbertBoris That’s completely fair. What will most likely happen is a possible “deluxe edition” where they do the same kinda thing that Mario Kart 8 did. Add a little bit more content, or change the game a bit without making it a completely new game!

My Switch Successor Predictions: - Name: Nintendo Switch Dual - New Features: Backwards compatibility, better graphics, it has a stylus, its dual screen attachable, it has a camera on the top center, the screen is bigger, and it will have a mic for handheld dual mode. - Price: Anywhere from $350-$400, and the games are still going to be $60 each. - Joy Cons: They'll look almost the same, but this time they will be a bit bigger, and the analog sticks are gona be in the top for both joy cons. (The Switch's Joy Cons are attachable to this new system) - Apps: eShop. Camera. News. Gallery. Mii Channel. Activity Log. Amiibo (If they're still around). Controller. Settings. Random game that's a tech demo much like Wii Sports. - Launch Year Title Games: - Mario Kart 9 - Pokemon AZ - Brand New 3D Mario - Brand New Zelda - Random Mario Sports Game - Brand New Kirby - Announce Trailer: Around September or October of 2024 - Release Date: Around February or March of 2025

everyone is taking about a Ocarina of Time remake, I don't believe that exists so I think a brand new 2D Zelda will release in the first year or two of Switch 2

I don’t think using announced games as a means to guess release windows is a good call. More likely than not Nintendo will have a transition period where they will still be selling and launching games for the old system. Depending on the new system’s compatibility with Switch games they might even release cross gen games as Switch titles with digital upgrade paths to reduce the number of skus.

As a huge proponent of dual screen gaming, I would love to see it return, but I'm not holding my breath.

Something I never see anyone talking about is how you can only have up to 10,000 screenshots and 1,000 videos with an SD Card (even less without) on the Switch. As a massive Splatoon player, I've lost alot of clips and screenshots from my older days due to needing to delete them. My biggest hope for NSW2 is that it has up to 3 minute clips and no limits on storage. I've owned a PS5 for awhile and I've realized how its capture features is my favorite part of the console, so I hope Nintendo can similarly adapt. (I forgot this when initially writing my comment but at least 128gb system storage on next console please)

The Switch 2 from all the little tidbits of rumors and leaks we get indicate that there will be more storage built into the system and that the technology behind the cartridges is a lot faster and all.
