I believe Anna is a strong possibility for a few reasons. Anna’s signature color isn’t just red or orange, it’s crimson, a hue that lies between the two. The hints in the City Square stage seem to support this theory. The billboard references “Janice (Winters),” which could hint at the season she will drop. There’s also a mention of “(William) Teal,” another potential clue, her last name. The billboard reads “Crimson Cendrillon,” or Cinderella story, Anna’s red shoe serves as another nod to the Cinderella connection. Cendrillon is the French word for Cinderella, and the story aligns with Anna’s narrative: she is betrayed or undervalued by her sister (Nina), much like Cinderella. Additionally, Anna is now an actress.

As some people already said, Heihachi not being the final dlc is weird. So my guess is on a new og char or maybe a guest(can't trust that they said no guest in s1). I don't know what people would say about Mokujin. A lot of people won't count him as a real char i guess, but would fit the orange too somehow.

We're not going to see a T9 until the next console generation. Unless something goes horribly wrong, BamNam don't have any reason or incentive to pour resources into another Tekken game. And we don't need them to either. As long as they maintain interest (new features/content) and balancing we can enjoy Tekken 8 for the next 10 years, and there'll be plenty of time to get through the legacy roster with room to spare for new and guest characters along the way.

I think last character is gonna be Miguel or Fahkumram. And for S2 they might go the way they did with T7: announce AK, Marduk and Julia right off the bat and AK and Marduk might be released in the same patch because of how these two are connected lore-wise OR if last S1 character is going to be Marduk, then AK is practically guaranteed to be the first S2 character

The more I was thinking about this, more I'm inclined to say that I have no idea at all who the next character will be. The "animal" code names are just animal names the developers associated with all the characters, seemingly at random. There's no real rhyme or reason for why a character is associated with a particular animal, and it's definitely done on purpose to keep each release a secret. The only guess I can make is Marduk being the winter character because in Tekken 5, he had orange trunks. Usually his clothing is green, but in Tekken 5 (or was it Tekken 4?) he had orange trunks and some other orange apparel, such as his gloves. Personally, I think it will be another big surprise for everyone, someone no body was expecting.

I think it's going to be a guest character, would be a fitting timing at the end of a season. Heihachi already was like such a big bang of a character reveal, bringing him back before the last character of the season pass feels like they got something nobody is excepting for the last spot. Possible guest characters are endless but I'm betting on Tifa from FF7 (And yes i know this is full COPIUM xD)

Interesting video, got a few thoughts tying in with this. - I don’t think character 4 is a guest character, and I get the impression you’ve ruled that out in your mind. Main thing for me was that they’ve said they are releasing a stage with the 4th character, and they have changed plans so it will be included in the season pass after the fallout from hei’s stage. I doubt they would be able to agree that with a third party for a guest assuming it uses a lot of their IP, as that would probably involve money in some way, unless it was a bamco character. - Second thing is that I’d assume bamco would want to promote guest characters up front. They did that for Negan months ahead of his gameplay trailer and release, again Season 1 for T7 was sold as specifically having guest characters on the promo material ahead of Geese and Noctis being revealed. - For archetypes; I think this is a difficult one. Season 2 of T7 launched with two stance/tricky characters in Anna and Lei, likewise we saw two grapplers/hybrid grapplers announced back-to-back in 2018 with Marduk and Armor King. I would agree with you that doing another mishima style character is a push, although there is one I could definitely see happening, but otherwise I don’t think they would avoid most other character types because one type has been represented more than others. - So for Mishimas; I think we will see Devil Reina as dlc soon enough, whether that’s for this character or as part of Season 2, and I would be interested to see when they announce season 2. - The T7 seasons released their characters over a roughly a six month window, whereas this has been closer to 8 or 9 months depending on when we finally see Character 4. If you take the example of SF6 they had really long gaps between some of their DLC characters in season 1, and then they had season 2 announced within a few weeks of season 1 wrapping up with Bison following very quickly after Akuma. I wonder if we will see similar for T8 as the game awards is taking place on the 12th, following TWT finals finishing on the 8th. - The last big thing is original character designs. This is a difficult one to speculate about because it is so open-ended but given the focus on original characters during the latter part of T7 I feel like this could very easily be the case for Character 4. Will we finally see Xiao Meng?

Interesting about the stage addition. I forgot all about that and, to be honest, that might more likely point to a guest character (seeing as how every guest character got their own stage). Yes, I'm in the mindset that we'll see returning characters first but remembering that does put some more hesitation in my head.

I think the last character is gonna be Fauk, kunmitzu or Josie . Just looking at all the characters in the game and you see Alot of karate style characters . So my guess is they slow down with Karate and bring in another ninja, kick boxer, Boxer, or grappler.

It can only be fahk, marduk, Anna or Miguel, or maybe Bob simply because he really does best fit the hamster thing, but for no other reason. Armor king is too much of a heavy hitter popular character, the way they've spaced Eddy and heihachi make it obvious they're playing into the popularity of characters and spreading them between Lidia (who currently is not very popular and the reaction to her release compared to heihachi was nothing). Julia or kunimitsu is possible but something about my gut instinct says it's unlikely, I think you have to consider Tekken 8 has alot of new players namco want to appeal to and I don't think Julia and kunimitsu will enough to be considered over these other characters. Josie was too unpopular to make it back I think. I fought one Josie in all my time on t7. Everyone else is just better suited for later. I think Miguel is possible because the game feels very incomplete without him since we've had him as a base game character since Tekken 6 (Bob too so he's definitely sooner rather than later maybe the second character of season 2?) I also think Miguel would be very appealing to new players, but so would fahk and marduk probably even more so. Anna best fits the M/F/M/F ratio but it would be a pick to appeal to legacy players. This is all just how I feel personally

Wang and Baek die in their respective endings, which (technically) are not official canon. Although, in the TTT2 (also non-canon) ending, they create their alliance for old, gone characters and Ganryu shows up at the end (coincidence?).
