To clean grinding stone. After removing the batter from drum, put back the grinding stone, pour some water & run the grinder, the batter will be removed from stone & will be in liquid form. Allow it for sometime. Batter will settle down. Drain the water & take the batter.

@radan Pour water & run the grinder. Transfer the liquid batter into another vessel immediately. Allow this batter to settle for sometime in the vessel. The thick batter will settle down. Drain the water on top & use the thick batter. After transferring the liquid batter, wipe the drum & stone with a clean cloth. The cleaning is done.

Actually I prefer tilting grinder which is easier for removing g the dough. Unfortunately Preeti has not come up with tilting. I am using Preeti mixie since 2013 so Was bent upon buying Preeti only. Now I remove the top one and tilt and remove the dough then put water and run for sometime n remove. Others also can follow

If you don't put lid some insect may fall into the grinder while grinding. We may not notice it. Actually I am planning to buy a less weight grinder. I may go in for this one. Thanks for the video.

I used for two weeks and sold it really pathetic experience.. Very slow motor as its rotating clock and anti clock its delay time.. Worst part is over heating... Noramally black gram will not give proper quantity.. Its my experience..
