Well your video removed all of my confusion but how will 0.6 change into scientific notation?
@physicslab4211 ай бұрын
@@Hani_x_. You could write 0.6 as 0.6 x 10^0 (which is 0.6 x 1) or you could write it as 6 x 10^-1

For the problem at 6:40 why was the unit kg if the exponent was not that if kilo which is 3 ?
@physicslab42Ай бұрын
Good question! You can actually combine scientific notation and prefixes. So if something is 1 x 10^24 kg then it would be equal to 1 x 10^27 g (the exponent would increase by 3 if you convert from kg to g).

we have make all the number to have only one number in the left?
@physicslab424 ай бұрын
Yup if you are writing a number in scientific notation you would move the decimal until there is one digit to the left of it. The number of places you moved the decimal is the exponent above the 10 (the exponent is positive if you moved the decimal left and negative if you moved it right).
