I always thought I wanted a girl, but I have my son and I love him so much. My boy is the best and he is mama’s baby 👶🏻 maybe one day i’ll have a girl but i’d be ok with another boy.

I was the same way. I was infertile for 5 years and when I finally got pregnant I really wanted a girl, because I thought I’d be able to relate/bond more with a girl. But I cannot IMAGINE not being a boy mom, and my son has always been SUCH a mama’s boy, there’s nothing like the way a boy loves his mom ❤️❤️❤️ I wasn’t able to have more kids but if I could have I would have loved more boys ❤️

I just wanted to comment that all of what you are feeling is completely normal. After I lost my daughter to anencephaly, I ended up having another 12 week miscarriage. When I ended getting pregnant with my now 2 year old; I was absolutely petrified the entire pregnancy. I didn't relax until I held her in my arms. It is a feeling I can't describe. It was a healing expierence for myself in a way.

I am not the mother of a loss, I am the grandma. My daughter's only baby died 22 minutes after he was born in 2017. We found out all of his problems at his 20 week ultrasound. Today my daughter is having a 20 week ultrasound for her rainbow baby a beautiful baby girl. I am so triggered just thinking about Westyn. I will never feel how hard your loss is but I know a grandma's loss is unbearable. My thoughts and prayers are always with you!

I too am pregnant after pregnancy loss, and a lot can happen in six months. Added to that, when you were carrying Everly, while you were definitely celebrating her life, you were also grieving (anticipatory grief). I have a background in ministry/counseling and really appreciate the way that you shared Everly with your other two kids. Your transparency with them will be an asset to them as they grow up and continually process the loss of their sister, and I believe that Layla's tears are a product of that transparency. She's seen mom cry, so she knows that it's okay for her to cry too.

When I have having my second baby my symptoms were so different than my 1st baby . And I didn’t find out the gender the whole pregnancy. But I was always so sick during my pregnancy and left like I was having a boy I just left it . And sure enough it was a boy !

Still Team healthy BABY BOY..lol. I have 2 boys and now a girl. I can honestly say without any hesitation that BOYS are SO much easier than girls...hands down!!! The girl drama is just over the top for me and with now having to do home schooling with a newly 9 year old girl is enough to make me want to cry! My boys are older and yes there is such as thing as 'Mama's Boy'..it is amazing. I know you guys will be thrilled with either sex but it is okay to want a boy. I am so excited to be on this journey again with you both..I remain a faithful Prayer Warrior. God is great...all the time!

Be prepared my daughter is now talking to/about Corra ( the daughter I lost before her) this may happen with your rainbow baby. She seemed sad when she said that she was dead. I almost cried myself. Just knowing that I didn't have to tell makes things a bit easier

Rainbow babies can never replace our angel babies. We may not have our angel babies in our arms but they’re still very much our children. I think it’s important to let children know how much they all matter to us even our angels. We always try to include Everly is some way whenever we do special things as a family so the girls know she matters just as much as they do and we love all of them equally. My heart is with you. ❤️

What was the cvs procedure?

It’s a Chorionic Villus Sampling procedure. It’s where they stick a needle in your stomach to your placenta to remove chorionic villa cells. The procedure is done to look for chromosome abnormalities and genetic disorders. We decided to have the procedure done because getting blood drawn for a noninvasive prenatal test will not pick up disorders such as Holoprosencephaly.

Soooo different :) and yes people think we had him becausr we didn't stop until.we had a boy. But it's not the case. We wanted four children reardless of their gender. Yes, absolutely! I’m not in denial. I’m very aware she passed away. Just because she’s no longer with us doesn’t mean she didn’t exist and didn’t matter. I carried her in my belly for 9 months. I gave birth to her. I held her and got to meet her just like I did with my other daughters. She’s still my child and the girls sister.

Boys are easier then girls in my opinion I’ve taken care of baby girls and now have my son and he is so much easier to deal with although if you don’t put his diaper/pull up on fast enough he pees on me lol

I'm so happy for you guys! I understand how hard it is being pregnant after loss/losses. Our rainbow baby girl was born in January. I don't see how or why people thought that about Layla's reaction. She said she was happy lol. Are kids not allowed to have happy tears? I thought it was sweet.
