I have had three babies and I had my belly button pierced and I took it out each time just when it got to the point where it stuck out! Mine went back in straight away after having my boys with no problems! You can always pop it through the hole a few times during the last few weeks etc to keep it from closing up but it shouldn't do if it has been there for years now. On a separate note it's really lovely to watch someone else's journey with pregnancy as my youngest is now 8 so it's been a while for me! I love the new content and seeing a different side to you sharing something so precious! Thank you Fleur! Xx

I'm currently 28 weeks and I took my belly button ring out about 15 weeks or so. I put it in once a week or so for just a second to keep it from closing. (Saw this suggestion on a forum.) So far I haven't had any problems with it. It's definitely stretching now, but no marks. Hopefully there won't be any. 🙂

I have had lower back issues for years, and when I was pregnant I felt quite sore... so I'd recommend getting a gym ball Fleur, it was the best thing I could have ever purchased. It was impossible to get comfy on the couch etc and spent months draped over the ball! And the pain really kicked in when I was in labour, I swear the pain in my lower back overtook any other pain, the most comfy position was to lie with my fist right under my lower back (just above my bum) it was the only way to relieve my back pain whilst I was pushing. Sorry if that's a bit rambly but thought I'd share my experience of back pain + pregnancy x

Super excited that you are having a little girl too! I am due in October. I got a little line on my belly a few weeks ago it's very faint. I had my belly pierced but took it out about 2 years ago. My belly button is not an outie but it's more flat now. I think it would be uncomfortable having one in as that part of skin on me feels thin and super soft. I've noticed quite a change in my belly from about 28 weeks. I've really popped and now I'm nearly 36 there is just a big bump haha!

For the belly ring, my first pregnancy I left it in the entire time and it really didn't stretch or change! The second time I took it out solely because it was itchy and driving me crazy but again it didn't really change! I will say that after baby comes it does sort of sag, which is a bummer!

I've seen lots of pregnant women as a midwife and mostly people take it out or buy one of the plastic bars that are more pliable but as long as you're comfortable it won't cause any problems to leave it in. You could always take it out and just put it in for a couple of hours every week to make sure it stays open. You look absolutely amazing! Xx

My biggest tip is to tilt the cot slightly so her head is above her feet, if she brings up during her sleep it will run away easier and lessen the chance of choking if she is laying on her back. Xx

hi fleur, so so cute stuff for the baby! i have an idea, i'm also very organized, u may want to get large baby clothing storage furniture with many drawers and label the drawers in weeks 1-4 weeks and months 12-36 months, so that when you try on the clothes, if they don't fit and are too large move the clothes down the storage drawers to the next weeks, months and years drawers, luv u and have fun!! melissa k. pa, usa

I know people that used to take out their bars and put in cherry stems as a replacement, this was of course very temporary. I would think the best thing would be to ask a professional piercer, maybe one who herself has had a baby just to get the most thourough information.

Also .. go to see a chiro who specialise in pregnancy. I had a bad back as well and I went every week until full term. They will help with the back and also help you slowly open up your pelvis. Some of them would have a pregnancy pillow which will allow you to rest on your front whilst you get adjusted. Swimming helps with the back as well .. it takes the pressure off your back and avoid any nerves which might gets trapped.

Nubianette I actually agree.. When you're carrying baby to her cot, it's way too easy getting a foot under the rug and tripping over. As there is already a carpet, I hope you'll consider moving the rug away from the walking path of the room to somewhere else.. ☺️

Hey Fleur! I'm currently 20.5 weeks pregnant with my second and I remember the back and pelvis pain like it was yesterday. I highly recommend finding a Webster certified chiropractor to adjust you throughout the pregnancy. I used to think chiros were quacks but after the relief it gave me with my first I'm a huge believer!! You look so lovely, pregnancy definitely suits you well! 💓

My belly piercing has survived two pregnancies now. I've had it for years (10+) and it was well healed before hand. I took it out towards the end of my pregnancies, when my naval started to change and pop out and I put it back in afterwards. It did need a little re-piercing but was able to work the bar back in and it was fine again. Congrats to you and Mike x x x

Really enjoyed this video and how happy and comfortable you seem being pregnant :) I'm not pregnant and don't have any kids but I still love watching these videos - the bit at the end where you were talking about finding like minded people is exactly why I like watching you! We're a similar age and at similar stages and I just find you so easy to watch :)

You are looking radiant and the bump is beautiful! I am a Gram of 6..... my best tip.... listen to music and pay attention to which song captivates your little girl so she settles down to listen..... it works amazingly well to calm them down. I have two granddaughters who will be 12 next week.... they still snuggle up when I sing their song.... I played a recording of the song my daughter had picked while I was in labour and it was amazing!!! Interesting to see what each child responds to... it was very cool that the same song calmed both of the twins down at the same time. Nice to know Baby Deforce is coming along nicely! Enjoy and treasure these times!

The Wondersuits are great! Aden & Anais make the loveliest blanket ('Classic Dream'). My girls still use it and they're 3 & 5. I love watching your update videos because I keep remembering back to when I was pregnant. It's such a wonderful time. You look fabulous - don't even worry about adding extra weight - it's amazing how quickly it sheds!

You look absolutely stunning in that shade of pink.... and the nursery is looking so lovely. By the way, I wouldn't worry one bit or feel superstitious about the cot being built!
