When I was pregnant my husband wasn’t near, he was across the whole country the whole time (military) but he still watched videos like this and tried to be involved. I love hearing their interpretation of events. I recently asked my husband how pads stay in place. He said friction 🤣 then when I said there’s adhesive involved he thought the pads were stuck to our lady parts!

My mom told my husband, “Your going to be hearing some new terms. A cervix what the baby goes through to come out is like a donut. Effaced means is being smushed. Dilated means the hole in the center is getting bigger. When that gets to ten cm dilated and it’s 100% smushed or effaced she’s ready to have the baby. Now you’ll know what the nurses are talking about.” We are on number three! My husband is a champ! One week until this baby is allowed to come. I’m supposed to clean my whole house in two days for my dad to come. I’m also supposed to rest and drink water because I have a lot of prelabor signs my midwife told me chill out for a week... I just want to sleep but toddlers and cleaning and heartburn 😅 I’m so close to being done with this pregnancy!! I can’t wait any more than a week lol

I am Spaniard and definitelly we don’t drink wine beer or whatever types of alcohol while pregnant, I mean some people may have a sip (I have never seen it though) the same way as people everywhere are not supposed to smoke and some women still do while pregnant. I just wanted to clarify that is not a common or widely accepted behaviour nor seen as normal in Spain. We have to deal with enough stereotypes and misconceptions to add another one to the list. Other than that, this was a GREAT video, I hope lots of dads and dads to be get to see it and learn from it!

I was pregnant in Spain twice and i never drank nor did people encourage me too.
