@leilabhl since Hamas came to power in Gaza in 2006 there have been tens of thousands of rockets shot into Israel targeting the civilian population. In June 2006 Gilad Shalit was kidnapped into Gaza. That led to the first war between Israel and Gaza since Israel unilaterally left Gaza in 2005. Since then there have been countless more rocket attacks, terror attacks, kidnappings/murders (3 teenagers were kidnapped in 2014 which led to another war). I can't go through the whole history, because it's over 15 years worth, but just because you don't hear about the other side in the mainstream media doesn't mean things didn't happen. Also to clarify, Hamas isn't all Palestinians. But they do want to wipe Israel off the map and have been very open about that fact. Since October 7th they've gone on air saying that they're justified and they plan to do more attacks like that. Unfortunately Israel can't just accept that and a ceasefire would only help Hamas.

By operation from civilian objects? Have you ever seen a similar war in history where people did this and sacrificed their own just to weaken the other side? International bullying is the reason why hamas is still a threat and not already defeated and forgotten years ago. And when they don't kill Israelis, they kill and torture Palestinians, but you will never hear about that, because the News isn't interested in a narrative that makes palestinians look bad. So they prefer watching them get killed and tortured by their own people. And can you explain to me why no one cared about civilian deaths during other wars? I know many people from countries who have faced wars the past 10 years and they were very mad about the UN SG's speech where he said that he has never seen so many civilians suffer since he took office. The UN stayed silent for 6 months after the Ethiopian civil war broke out during Covid and 1 Million people died in less than two years. How come the SG doesn't know about this suffering? It only happend recently during the pandemic. Why do only Palestinians matter? They matter even more than Ukranians.

Yes, you do have to know a lot about this conflict to have a qualified opinion. Everything you said shows that you know nothing. You do realize that billions of dollars were donated to Palestinians? Much more than the Marshall Plan for Europe after WWII. And what did the Palestinian leaders do with that money? 1. They funded themselves. All Palestinian leaders are at least Multi Millionaires. The Hamas leaders are even Multi billionaires and Arafat died a Multi billionaire. 2. They invested in terrorism, weapons, 500km long tunnels under hospitals, schools, mosques, etc. in order to hide between civilians when they attack Israel. 3 They invested in child indoctrination that consists of 3 things: A child soldier camps, B children TV shows that teach children to kill the Jews , C education that teaches children to kill the Jews. How much money went into building the economy and helping Gazans? Probably not much, as 50% of Gazans are unemployed and live off donations. Instead of building for people they invest in a never ending war and the US has been funding it with tax payer money. Every Western country has been funding this. And Hamas announced in Lebanese TV that they will repeat the 10/7 attacks again and again and again, even if it takes a Million times, until Israel is gone. Now I want to ask you what would you want your government to do, if you would face such a threat in you neighbourhood? Where do you live? Just imagine this would hapen 24/7 next to you. People planning to do to you again and again what they did on 10/7. Would you want this to continue, or would you want your government to end this threat forever?

@spelldaddy538611 ай бұрын
MDJ, I must start by saying I have always valued and respected your opinions and your passion for helping everyone. That said, please read these points carefully: 1. Yes, there is a terrible humanitarian crisis in Gaza. However, recognize that two months ago, there was still a humanitarian crisis in Gaza. 2. Hamas, as the ruling "political" leader of Gaza, has shown over and over again that they do not care about their civilians. Their hospitals have always been packed, and people have always been living in terrible conditions. If they really cared, they would have been bringing in much more aid into the region before the conflict broke out. It is a shame that it took an escalation of the conflict to bring this to light. 3. October 7 was a horrific day, where Hamas, unprovoked, raided Israeli communities, murdering at least 1,200 people, and taking at least 240 hostage. While this was the biggest escalation in a while, Hamas has a long history of provoking Israel into these conflicts. Israel does not want to harm civilians, but it is their duty to destroy Hamas, so they cannot continue attacking Israeli civilians. 4. Recall that Hamas does not care about Gaza's civilians. Hiding terrorists among civilians is setting up those civilians to be targeted. Civilian deaths are all Hamas's fault. Remember that Israel did not want this war in the first place, so any casualties cannot be entirely blamed on Israel. 5. In contrast to Hamas, Israel cares extensively about protecting as many civilians as possible. Every time they are about to attack an area with a lot of civilians, they warn civilians to leave, so that they are only striking terrorists. If Israel had the same attitude as Hamas about civilians, the entirety of Gaza would be dead by now. 6. Israel employs very high end technology to protect its citizens, including the Iron Dome, which intercepts rockets aimed at civilians. Since October 7, Hamas has fired many thousands of rockets into Israel, and the Iron Dome has done its best to protect everyone. This is one reason that the Israeli death toll is so low compared to the Gaza death toll. That said, if all of Hamas's rockets were allowed to fall, the Israeli death toll would likely be about the same. 7. Note that all of the figures coming out of Gaza are given by Hamas's ministry of health. No independent media source is able to confirm these numbers during the active conflict. While there is terrible devastation in Gaza, take the published numbers with a grain of salt. 8. Lastly, regarding a ceasefire, consider everything I have shown about Hamas's attitude. If they are allowed to remain at large, there is every chance that Hamas will launch a similar attack once their political backers are able to restock their ammunition. There is nothing that Israel stands to gain from a ceasefire at this moment, while more than 200 of their citizens are still trapped in Gaza. Consider each of these points, and please, consider reframing your message. I do not minimize the atrocities of the current health care in Gaza, and I agree that the medical staff need to get as much aid as possible, but a ceasefire is not the answer. These people need to be evacuated as quickly and safely as possible, to get out of the way of the inevitable fighting, but that is not the same as ending the fighting. In closing, I would not like to start a political fight in the comments section. If you have something to say, please really take the time to think through your words carefully, not only here, but in any forum where you may be discussing this issue. It is a very sensitive topic all around, and it must be treated as such.

I am not a medical doctor but i work in direct patient care in the healthcare system in the united states. Gaza and the west Bank has been under siege for 75 years under apartheid segregated rule. Long before hamas came in to the picture. Similar to south Africa during its own apartheid regime, limited access to food shelter clean water and safe place to live along with state-sanctioned segregation that impacts healthcare access and heightens disparities in how and where the sick and pregnant are treated has been the reality on the ground for decades. This is not political. This is not about “trusting” the numbers put out by hamas. This is decades of limited healthcare research done in an occupied state that is not allowed by the ruling state to officially put our those numbers. Those in healthcare know what the reality is. I have friends who have given birth in the past few weeks and it's so crazy to me that they had a baby in these circumstances, but it's not like they had a choice.

47% of Palestine is under the age of 18. Children. It's horrific, and I wish more people here with large followings would call for a ceasefire. No one has to weigh in "for" one side or the other, or know much about the region, to support a ceasefire. Thank you for the video.

When you hear, "Half the population are children", that means the people of Gaza doubled their population in the last 18 years, just so they could complain how they never have enough food or water and adequate housing.

@@RachelDerGolem I love how you willingly decided to ignore my reply on the other comment, and continue to spread misinformation, so here I am, refuting your claimns, once again: QUOTE: "When you hear, "Half the population are children", that means the people of Gaza doubled their population in the last 18 years, just so they complain how they never have enough food or water and adequate housing" SOURCES REFUTING THAT POPULATION DOUBLED: Gaza Population in 2004: 1,287,000 (Population Projections for Socioeconomic Development in the Gaza Strip, Harvard) Gaza Population in 2022: 1,997,328 (THE WORLD FACTBOOK (2022 ARCHIVE), CIA) Maybe you're not good at math... Double would be over 2.5 Million "Why do children make up such a large portion of the population? The reasons are varied. Many Palestinians simply don't get the chance to grow old - dying in their early adulthood either in conflicts or due to a struggling healthcare system - which drags the averages down." Furthermore, when faced with the fact that Israel, is occupying Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem, your reply, saying "Sorry, I won't move to Alaska", is but a confirmation, that you know Israel is invading Palestinian territory, and you chose to ignore that.

Hi .. I am huge fan of your videos but first time I am leaving a comment here .. after watching this video I realised that you have a such a beautiful heart who has a mercy inside for those who are suffering silently in war zone and some people are not caring for them even not raising a voice for them … it’s so much disturbing for myself too cause Whatever is happening it’s very painful 😢

I live in Israel, and I find what's going on in Gaza horrific. Our huge fear over here is that as long as hammas is in power, what happened on 7.10 could happen again.. I really don't know what the solution is, but I also know that what we're doing right now only causes more pain and more hate.. BTW, don't know if DRMJ heard about this, one of our hostages just gave birth in Gaza, so the number of hostages went from 239 to 240 😢

🇮🇱 Israel rejected a hostage deal that would include the release of 71 people and a 5-day ceasefire, journalist Seymour Hersh reported. This is a clear indication to the Israeli public that Netanyahu does not care about the hostages in Gaza and will do his best to screw them up along with the Palestinians
@sarahwiener817111 ай бұрын
I live here too. As much as everyone wants this to stop, a ceasefire isn't feasible while there is still Hamas. Don't forget that this war started when Hamas broke the last ceasefire, as they've broken every ceasefire we've ever had with them. There's no negotiating with a terror organization who's stated purpose is to wipe Israel and the Jews off the map. This is a matter of Hamas putting their people in danger and using them as human shields once again.
@MohammedAli-hl4mr11 ай бұрын
@@sarahwiener8171 so you defend the indiscriminate bombing of Palestinians but view it as uniquely wrong and unjustified if Israelis are the victims, just say you want to wipe Palestinians from existence and stop pretending as though you aren't advocating for the exact same thing as Hamas
