I appreciate you being open and honest about the “tmi” stuff. I think it is very important to get rid of any taboo regarding pregnancy and be real. It is very helpful for girls growing up as well as those about to or currently experiencing the same things. Kudos for still talking regardless of everyone around you feeling uncomfortable lol I appreciated it ♥️

Tina, the extra bit of pregnancy weight looks amazing on you. Your face just looks even more gorgeous and you seem so happy. Honestly, having a baby shouldn't be some silly romantic thing that occurs without forethought and much consideration so I'm glad to know that you and Alfred have kept to your pragmatic ways in this regard as well. I'm honestly so excited for you both and I can't wait to see how becoming parents changes you

100% would recommend hypnobirthing techniques and start practising/meditating as of now if you want a natural unmedicated birth. The breathing techniques help so much. This also works well even if you have an epidural or C-section! Good luck! xx

I personally love Lilah, cause I would pronounce it the same as you Tina! Also, I know a Malaysian girl who called her baby Scarlett, and unfortunately a lot of the Asian Aunties/Uncles accidentally called her Scallop because of their accents. They've managed to correct themselves now but that is forever stuck in my head when I hear Scarlett.

Hey Tina, I’m currently 38 weeks pregnant and waiting for our bubba to arrive! I highly recommend listening to Australian Birth Stories podcast and if they have it in Singapore look into doing a hypnobirthing class. It really helped me mentally prepare for a natural unmediated birth. You got this mumma and poppa!!! Congrats you guys and I hope everything goes well 💕

Congratulations Tina! I have had 5 natural non-medicated births. I hope that you are able to achieve your goal! Practice breathing technique's and visualize yourself giving birth, also think about what helps you during pain in the past. Some people Make themselves a birthing music playlist, for me, it was focusing on that birthing is temporary and the more work I put in, the faster the baby would be here, with that make sure you are listening to your midwife, sometimes you have to stop pushing or push slower for the baby. My 4th had the umibical cord around her neck so I had to slow down so the midwife could correct that. Trust your body and your birthing team, you got this! Best of luck to you!

My son was born in singapore, and his name is Yani (greek for John). The reason I spelt it that way was purely so he got called Yani instead of singaporeans trying to pronounce Yiannis (the traditional greek spelling). My advice is to write her name down and ask Singaporeans how they would pronounce it :)

I just had my second baby but I'm still always excited when a baby is coming ^O^!!! I definitely recommend second-hand clothes for at least the first year, safe for a few special outfits for photos. They grow SO fast the first year, after 1 yr they will wear clothes a little bit longer at a time. Otherwise they'll wear an outfit like once.

Lilah for sure! ❤️ As for products, when my little boy was a baby, we used Burt's bees products for him. Amazon have a set with a shampoo/body wash and a baby oil. It is honey scented and smells amazing, as well as being super gentle for little ones skin. The oil we applied all over after bathing, and was amazing to put on the scalp too. And little man loved his little baby massages I did for him (I'm a beauty therapist) Honestly, Burt's bees was our absolute favourite products to use x

Speaking from experience. I'm Aussie and my husband is Japanese and we live in Australia. Our child's name is Japanese and it gets butchered by people every day. So even a name like Lilah will most probably get misspelled or mispronounced. I wouldn't worry too much, even my name gets misspelled constantly and it's Kelly...so I just think people can't be helped.... name your child what you want because at the end of the day, that's what counts.

I have a Lyla in my classroom. I read it as L-Y-L-A and def pronunciate correctly. I can definitely see teachers confusing her name but we always ask parents about pronunciation. Can't wait to meet little Ly ♡ must have products ofcourse would be a comfortable carrier. So many types out there. A lightweight stroller I can easily break down to carry especially if your living in NYC. Don't buy shoes till they are starting to walk since their feet grow fast. Clothes always buy 3 months and up. They definitely outgrow all clothes. A good collection of bottles that doesn't cause gas. And boxes and boxes of diapers 😊

Tina your videos always make me so happy. I have three little girls and I am here to tell you they are a blast! Things I though were super helpful was the ergo baby 360 carrier and some type of wrap/sling carrier when they are brand new. I liked the wrap because it kept them super close and snug to you so you could go about your day. Also, people won’t ask to hold or touch your new baby as much when they are in the wrap carrier. :) I’m so happy for you guys!

Please go baby shopping now! I worked at a baby store until a few weeks ago and a lot of our stuff was very often out of stock - because of COVID many couples went for a baby, which coursed in meny stores being out of stock, which again coursed a stress for the couples because they had to wait a long time before their purchase got to us/them, sometimes it was weeks or a few times even a few months before they got their goods. I'm talking about things like baby bed, car baby safety seat etc.(the bigger things). I don't know the situation in Singapore, but it's worth it to inform yourself about it, before getting stressed out because of missing items.

Hi Tina and Alfred, wishing you an amazing and healthy pregnancy from Brazil ☺️☺️ I think Lyla (without the “h”) would be better because in Portuguese (and if I’m not wrong Spanish and Italian as well) the “I” sounds like “e” and not “y” so maybe (just if you consider it being a little more international haha) lyla it’s best! Love you! ❤️

You can absolutely do an unmediated birth. Look into hypnobirthing. It’s a style of meditation that you do during birthing that helps with pain and understanding that the contractions are helping the baby come out. It’s a bit more than that but it made my experience amazing.

A baby sling for wearing the baby. Then you can still cuddle the cuteness while you still have hands free to do things like folding laundry and stuff. Babies who are worn close to parents a lot the first few months are calmer, cry less, more well-adjusted and emotionally attached. Also does the same for the parent.

OMG, I couldn't stop laughing with all the TMI realism Tina, I cried, 🤣But it's true, from a mom to another. Sometimes your hormones just play a very strong role that day. Overall I love more videos like this. I enjoy all the laughter and joyful tears. I just know that you two will be great parents. And yes, parenting instincts will kick in for you two. So don't worry about not being good parents. You two will be the best for your daughter. There is never a right or wrong way. We learn as they grow with us each and every day of the way. BTW I was just wondering if you two will try the feeling of what contraction pain will be like before you yell Epidural 😂

Check out delayed cord clamping for ur birth plan. It gives more iron to the baby. Also, theres a small window during labor when u can get an epidural but if u wait to long then the doc wont give it to u. If ur induced then the pain gets intense very fast so u might want to ask for pain meds if u know u will be induced

Ok so this video was too funny also because it was reminding me of my pregnancy back then. My baby is 7 now & we're still praying for another but if this is all that God has planned for us then I'm content. I can attest to the "jumping hubby's bones" and it just made me laugh heaps when you said it about Alfred. My morning sickness was all day every day, all different parts of the day too. Once that subsided a bit I was always hot & bothered by hubby doing the simplest things like reaching up to get something from the shelf, bending over to pick something up... I was always on the go to a point there were some day that he'd just have to um..."fix me up" when he couldn't quite participate and also toward the end of my pregnancy when the belly was just getting in the way. Bub didn't like anything placed on the belly and would always kick it away. Hubby would sleep with his hand on my belly then later on need to turn away because bub would non-stop kick his hand til he took it away.

@Unknown Excuse me? What pedo behaviour? There's nothing wrong with having sex while you're pregnant. There's nothing wrong with getting turned on by your husband either, it's all perfectly normal. Wishing such horrible things on other people while hiding behind and unknown profile makes you a horrible person.

@Unknown Please educate yourself about the human body and pregnancy. If you disagree with me then you must disagree with Tina jumping Alfred. You're the one with an issue in the mind & heart thinking such "pedo" things on something that is so natural. Have a nice day & God bless.

Don't leave buying baby furniture too late, sometimes stock availability is a few months. Also baby sleeping bags were an amazing purchase for us. No need for blankets and knowing baby was safe and couldn't wriggle under it like a blanket was a relief.

I think more people will read it as “Leelah” instead of “Lilah”.. especially us Southeast Asians ahahahaha😂😂

My favorite baby product is the ergo baby 360 or baby Bjorn carriers. It's so nice to have a carrier and have your hands free.

It's called Sympathy Weight! It's incredibly common and is a sign how deeply your partner is connected to you! I recommend getting a bottle nipple that's been molded after your own, sometimes you can't use the boob and need a bottle, it happens quite a bit where after baby has had the generic nipple she won't want yours anymore, it's not for anyone look into it!

Onsies with the mitts in the sleeves! Little tiny baby mitts are so easily lost or come off. Also get a little rotary nail file, those baby nails are sharp!

Definitely the Nose Frida- its gross sounding, but super effective. Water wipes- no crazy chemicals. Boppy pillow- provides support while feeding & great for tummy time practice!

So exciting!! I would definitely not buy too many clothes because when people gift you they almost ALWAYS include some sort of clothing. We have a 6month old and some items we found so helpful to have ready were: 🔹“SnuggleMe” / “DockATot” 🔹I preferred a cloth wrap to wear our daughter like the “boba wrap” whereas my hubby much preferred a front carrier. 🔹Baby Swing 🔹Diaper Changing Station (we did not have ours ready when we brought baby home and used the surface of our bed for diaper changes…TERRIBLE idea…had to change the sheets ALOT) 🔹Bedside sleeper 🔹Swaddle blankets / wraps 🔹Bottles (even if you plan on breastfeeding having a spare bottle in case of emergency…we had fully planned on breastfeeding but baby girl had such a hard time latching we had to have some help with bottles) 🔹Breast pump if you plan on doing breast milk. GOODLUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

So happy for you both! This journey is so exciting, I love watching your videos and hearing your plans 🥰 In my humble opinion, I think Lyla(h) makes it easier to understand how to pronounce. If I saw “Lilah” written I would think it was pronounced “Leelah”. Hope that helps 🤗 x

Hi, Tina!!! I love all your videos! Your voice is so cute, so I like to have your videos on in the background while I do other things. I was lost a few times during this video, so I just had to set my coursework aside for a moment and watch the video with full attention, so that I can see the questions. I realized that I am able to pause and look at the screen, but your blind and vision-impaired fans can't do that. In your next Q&A, could you read the questions out loud? It would be a simple way to make your amazing videos more accessible. So excited to follow you on this journey!
