I know exactly what you mean! I had my second baby right after my first one. Back to back. They are 10 months apart! And just letting you know from experience you will need a lot of help from your husband. Babies need a lot of attention no matter what age.

I have always envied how close you are with your family Evette , you are soooooo blessed to have a family support system I feel like that obviously helps a lot with postpartum. Lot of girls deal with depression after I definitely did and I feel like it could have been prevented if I had family around me everyday. I was alone everyday 😓 my son is one now it’s slowly getting easier cus he’s more active and talking and more vocal .. but anyways I just wanted to say how lucky you are! Your mom is amazing you can tell she cares so much!!

I agree, having a good support system is so important! My son turns one this week and I struggled with PPD right after I gave birth and for months because I was completely alone EVERY SINGLE DAY, ALL DAY and had no idea how to be a mom, even though they say you will know what to do when you become a mom it's not true, those were some really dark times. I think she's super blessed & happy for her that she has that support.

What you said about stretch marks literally made me feel extra confident about my body now. I had my baby boy 4 months ago and got stretch marks. I did all the lotions, cocoa butter, bio oil, etc. I’ve learned to appreciate them now, literally a sweet souvenir of my first pregnancy. ☺️☺️

Yasmin Mendoza It’s normal to get stretch mark when pregnant. Don’t let anyone brain wash you into thinking it’s not. I too used to be very insecure about my stretch marks but now that I’m older I’ve become comfortable in my own skin, stretch marks & all! We’ve created life, how AMAZING IS THAT! 🤯

My mind state after my second baby and being single was “I have to take care of myself to take care of them”. Not meaning I was selfish but I wouldn’t eat, get ready, no sleep, anything for myself and I got so drained to the point I was depressed taking care of my kids. Once I found the balance of taking care of myself and taking care of them everything was so better in every way.

Your mom reminds me sooo much of my mom! She did all that with my older sister when she had my nieces. Sadly she passed away 5 years ago & I didn't get to experience that through my pregnancies. Yes girl take care of YOU too! I let myself go & I'm at 200lbs. After I had my baby. I wasn't as skinny as you, I was at 150lbs but it is important that you take care of you! Boys might just be chiller than girls. When i was pregnant with my daughter she used to be a soccer player/ninja in my stomach. Being pregnant with my son he was the chillest, i would have to basically make him mad for him to move. Lol the difference with my pregnancies/labors were so crazy to me. But i prepared myself more for labor with my son thanks to Sarah Lavonne / bundle birth. Hopefully labor goes smooth for you Blanca, can’t wait to see baby girl 💕
