Hey Bonnie I love your videos! By the way the numbness in the hands is due to swelling tissues pushing on your nerves. I had this when I was pregnant. Numbness in the pinky and ring finger is due to swelling at your elbow pushing on your ulnar nerve and numbness in your other finger is due to swelling in the wrist pushing on your median nerve. Try icing your wrist and elbow and that should help :)

I'm so glad you're "real" on your channel. You'd lose the true point of vlogging your experiences if you weren't. I think some people can't separate the idea that you can be disappointed in the gender initially and STILL love the baby with your whole heart. Ohhh coconut oil in the bath...that's what I need to try! I'm 16 weeks and soooo itchy, especially when my skin gets wet. I've been putting on coconut oil after water exposure, but that sounds like a good tip to help as well.

Oh my gosh. I never knew carpal tunnel was a pregnancy thing until i got pregnant. I just sat at my desk at work and cried all day today because they were so miserable. I am 37 weeks now so hopefully this little bebe comes soon. I am scared about going into labor and trying to deliver her and my hands and arms being asleep.

I had carpal tunnel with my first pregnancy and it was awful. I work for an Orthopaedics office and my doctor that specializes in wrist surgery told me that some carpal tunnel symptoms are caused by some foods and diet. You might consider checking it out to see if a change might help. Worth a shot, right? Congrats on half way!

I just had my 3rd on Sunday and had a horrible pregnancy (sick, vericose/spider veins all over which were extremely painful and gestational diabetic) and I swore it was my last! But...now that she's here... she's been the best baby and it makes me second wanting to be done... but then 4 sounds like a lot! Idk. Glad I get to watch you take it on and see if it's for us. It's 9 months of torture for me but a lifelong reward. Ugh, we shall see! ;) I understand if this is your last why you feel sad. And after baby comes, I'm feeling like "well now I kind of get why the duggars kept going..." hahaha how does one say "no! This is it!" It's a huge deal to me! good luck with your last few weeks!

Yikes, I have a 3 month old little girl and watching this makes me miss my baby bump! It's so, so sweet to feel them move! I do not miss the symptoms, however! I was right there with you on being up for hours in the middle of the night and the awful itching! I've never heard of getting carpal tunnel due to pregnancy - hope it doesn't get too bad!

I totally agree with you staying true to yourself. Because I saw your reaction on your gender reveal ultrasound I will be feeling just fine to find out I'm having a boy to grieve over not having my little girl. I have two boys...and I have had 2 miscarriages. Been praying for a little girl since I found out we are expecting our 3rd and last baby. I will be 20 weeks on April 11th. The place I get my ultrasounds at won't let me go in any earlier :( I have to wait until April 15th for my ultrasound. Oh well... Have a great day!

I have quite severe eczema on my forearms to the point where I struggle wearing sleeved shirts, because the fabric irritates it, and even short sleeved or sleeveless shirts aggravate it because it's always in contact with something, anyway, I use creams that are wheat germ based, like Aveeno, or Palmers Cocoa butter formula, and it really works! You should give it a go, they do small travel bottles that you could get to begin with and see how it goes :)

I can totally relate to the sleep issues! I'm only 5 weeks, but have been waking up around 4 am and have not been able to fall back asleep and I'm like a zombie the rest of the day and ready for bed by 7!

Like you said, finding out the gender of your baby is a big part of your life. If you are hoping/expecting something, and you didn't get it, you'll probably be sad. You have every right to be. And after you let it sink in, you were excited!!! Also, you have 2 boys and one girl, so I definelty can see how another boy would be a bit disappionting. I'm also glad you're real because it's more interesting for the watcher. Also, during big life experiences, you don't want to fake it and regret it later. Living life truly, and honestly is more important that the "right" reaction.

I'm so jealous of you..I'm sorry it's just because i miss those moments..i just had my m/c a week ago and i was 20w1d with what i was told before was a triplets but it's actually is a quadriplets..i was so heartbroken.. Been ttc for 2years++ and get pregnant through ivf..then this happened. It was inevitable miscarriage. They were still breathing and one of them even cried and it breaks my heart..but as time passed.I'm glad i had the chance of carrying them for 20w1d..even if it's just for awhile..i will carry them with me in my heart forever.. I'm told it's not a big deal and not to worry... But when I was a baby my mom passed it to me and I was on IV for days and was very sick... I'm sure it's different these days tho!.... I'll pray for you and your little one!

Bonnie being yourself is the only way to be. You wanted a girl but I understand that, as my second child I was the same way, but after he was born he was the baby for me! You know to enjoy your child while he is a baby. as they grow up too fast/ Some of my favorite memories is when my children were very young. I miss those days so much! You look so good and enjoying this time which is the best thing to do!

I am a mom of 3 little boys. No girls. My youngest is 10 months old and we did everything to have a girl. When we first went in for or gender ultrasound they said a girl. Then we went back and it definitely was a boy! I was devastated to say the least. Now I have him I wouldn't change him for the world but I still want a girl. You should see a neurologist, I had a simple in and out surgery this summer and now no more carpal tunnel. It's the smallest of incisions, or I just had a good doctor, lol. It's when you gain a little the extra weight causes the pinching of your nerve.

Yay!! Congrats on 20 weeks! I'm 36 weeks with my second baby and I've found relief with CeraVe lotion for my itchy skin. It's super hydrating without being greasy or heavy. (I get the Equate brand from Walmart.) It's also helpful with my son's eczema. (Equate makes a baby version too!) Hope this helps!

well I must be bad right there with you . We have a almost 3 year old and 16mth old boys and when I was pregnant with our second I wanted a girl so bad! I bough bows and headbands just wishing, before I even knew! Well in my heart I just knew he was a boy. When we went for the ultrasound after the pics we had to wait in the lobby to see the doctor and I got to looking at them and I just started balling!! Right there in front of everyone, people probably thought there was something wrong with the baby! Lol I just wanted a girl so bad!! But the once we picked a name and he was born and of course now, I wouldn't trade him for anything! He's our mommas boy, and our chunky munk! Still praying God will see fit to give us a girl just so I can experience that bond, but I LOVE my boys! Anyways boys will always have that special place in a mommas heart!

I too would like to thank you for being so honest. I am 10 weeks pregnant, and Im not going to lie... I am really hoping my little one is another boy. I have a 6 yr old girl and a 3 yr old boy, and my boy was so much easier. People keep telling me that they think this one is a girl, and they ask me what I prefer. And of course I am true to my feelings and everyone knows that I really want a boy. Some people have definitely given me "that look", and I have even gotten a few comments, but... I'm not focusing on that. I am trying to open myself up to having another girl, but its kinda hard. Like you said though... when I am holding this little one in my arms it won't matter.

Looking back of course I realize I was being irrational and focusing on what I thought I wanted I stead of what God knew I needed. Even though I don't have kids, I can understand why at first it may have been sad when figuring out your baby is a boy. I think it is a normal feeling for every person that is goes into it and isn't the gender that they want. But God is great and he gives you just what you need. :) Go Bonnie!

I get the carpel tunnel too with any hormone change bumping up my omega 3 oils I use fermented cod liver oil because it is the only fish oil that doesn't make me burp and have fish breath anyhow it really helps I get the green pastures brand you can get it in SLC at good earth or order it online I get the capsules because I don't wanna taste it and I take 6-8 caps a day when it is bad and 4 for everyday use Anyhow there's some random advice from a stranger enjoy!

I had carpel tunnel when j was pregnant too. I had a massage therapist massage my arm. It hurt during the massage but afterwards the pain the was gone and never came back. You might want to try massage.

Bonnie have you ever been checked for cholestasis during your pregnancies? I get it in mine, and the number one symptom is itchy skin! Get your bile salts checked ASAP, as it can be really dangerous for baby after 37 weeks gestation and they have no idea why.

Try L'Occtaine's 100% Shea butter for the itching. It's pricey but sooooo worth it! It has saved me during this pregnancy. :)
