I understand that there are few differnet storylines used to make these quick dramas. Most have the FL accepting horrific abuse (forced sterilzation, rape, beatings) from more than just the ML. As i watched this video, I was struck with is this art imitating life? does the ML and the other inflicting abuse suffer emotional damage in their real life? Is this a common place in China? I mean do they abuse women like this? Is it common to drug and rape a woman? Are women in China really reduced to being victims or villians? Are all men this abusive? 😢😢😢

1:30:15 I stopped watching at this point, but tbh I wanted to stop earlier bc even while she was being tortured and abused, it was already evident that she'd forgive him and take him back... Just the way she was acting, it didn't seem like she hated him at all for what he did, maybe just mad/upset but not like full on hatred. Then she out here drawing sketches of him... She still loves him and she's letting her feelings cloud her judgment. Hell, she probably has Stockholm syndrome(doesn't help that she's been in love with him for over 10 yrs either). Then, when you bring a baby into the picture, it makes it even worse bc now he's definitely going to have an emotional hold on her.
