I love it when artists create unique depictions of dinosaurs like the "Dinosaur Revolution" version of Gigantoraptor. It's just a great way to expand our idea of how dinosaurs might've looked and behaved in life. Not to mention those colors.

Love the new format where you’re checking out the dinosaurs in game now it’s awesome! And also a little tip to help ya out a bit for ark, you can enter the admin command “enemyinvisible true” to set yourself invisible to all the dinos so they don’t aggro on you. And you can also enter the command “slomo 0.5” if you want to slow the game down a little more to get a better look at the creatures. Any value works for the slomo command fyi, with 1 being the base speed and stuff like 10 being 10x faster. If you aren’t sure where to enter the commands I believe you can press the tab button to open the console where it’ll appear as a black bar where you can then enter the commands. Anyways, keep up the great content!

A tip for Ark! There’s a command that hides you from enemies or at least prevents them from attacking you. (In ASE at least). So that could make it easier to show them off.

The Nest for ark gigantoraptor is part of the taming method you have imprint on the baby by hiding in the nest and imprinting on the baby without the parent spotting you. It’s a hard tame 😂

The issue with Prior Extinction is likely due to the time you created your account, I know a lot of games have ways of keeping newly created accounts out for some reason or another. It should fix itself overtime though. There’s also a system in place for content creators to get everything in the game for free as long as you have over 1000+ subs.

(I don't know about Ascended) In Ark survival evolved you can spawn in species with specific commands so you don't gotta spend milleniums looking for a species. You can also do the command "Forcetame" to tame it automatically which will get the dino to stand still. PS: Prior extinction is a very repetitive and generally boring game, I'd stick to Path of Titans or even try out the Ilse over Prior extinction.

One thing making the Carnivores’ Gigantoraptor and other large aggressive dinos hard to hunt is their terrible weapon system. Carnivores 2, Ice Age and the two mobile games got some of the worst guns in the series, and dinos didn’t have mortal zones like Carnivores 1 (except the T.rex, and you could only bring down the T.rex by shooting its eyes), making the semiautomatic rifle the only effective weapon when you run into a charging Gigantoraptor.

Deinocheirus and Utahraptor likely had sparse/downy feathers as well. And ostriches and emus are significantly smaller than a Gigantoraptor. I’m talking MASSIVE sizes. Overheating is the whole reason why elephants only have a small amount of hair.

Yup, that’s why we often resort to sparse feathers when speaking on these larger animals. Something like Utahraptor might be able to get away with downy feathers, given it’s not as large as the other two. But it’s hard to say with those other fellas. Maybe environmental factors can play a role, but it’s hard to say until we have ample evidence. I mean, technically we don’t have any direct fossil evidence for feathers on deinocheirus and Gigantoraptor, we just know their close relatives had them, so it’s unlikely they would have been naked. But because of that, we don’t know the structure or amount of feathers they did possess. All we can do is go off of our present knowledge, we know that large animals struggle to shed heat (elephants spend a lot of their time in mud, and flapping their ears) so we can’t place feathers that are insulated on those types of animals. So sparse feathers (possibly hair-like) are certainly most likely.
