Fun fact: In Dinosaur King, Tank lost to an Ankylosaurus twice, once in Season 1 and again in season 2, even to the same move called Mole Attack

For Ankylosaurus, I feel it never gets as many stand out designs as many other popular dinosaurs. Of course the Jurassic Park 3 design is iconic, and for me personally the Saurian design of the dinosaur has become sorta THE Ankylosaurus depiction. And while it has odd proportions, the WWD design has some lovely color work, and some neat sound work to boot.

Tank in Dinosaur King is female. There is also the Japanese videogame Dinosaur Hunting. In that, they fight back by curling into a ball and rolling towards the player

Fun fact regarding Fossil Fighters Ankylosaurus: Ankylo is one of the few, if not only, dinosaurs to provide a 99% support boost to defense, effectively doubling it's teammates defense entirely, making most attacks do 0-5 damage.

I've always interpreted Ice Age 3's ankylosaur as a Sarcolestes- the animals is at least implied, from what I remember, to be carnivorous and looking to eat the herd, and Sarcolestes is sometimes depicted as a carnivorous animal; it was initially interpreted as a predatory theropod before being reclassified as an ankylosaur, so some poorly researched media combine these interpretations and depict it as carnivorous ankylosaur. It does not help that the name Sarcolestes means "flesh stealer".

Ankylosaurus is also an adoptable animal in Zoo Tycoon - 1: Complete Collection/Dino Digs and Zoo Tycoon 2: Extinct Animals. Both designs of the animal are pretty decent by ZT standards, but ZT2: EA is the better of the two, though, in my opinion. In ZT2, It's favorite biome is Wetland, where as it's ZT1 counterpart preferred Savannah. Overall, they're both pretty easy to take care of. 😁

Actually, Url from "Dinosaur 2000" appears to be a Euoplocephalus rather than an Ankylosaurus.

@@Jestalnaker94000 Sauropelta is a nodosaur. The arrangement of spikes on Url's back is reminiscent of Euoplocephalus. Compare a picture of him to the actual dinosaur, and can see similarities.

You should check out the Extreme Dinosaurs designs. There is an ankylosauras character that eventually gets added to the show. The show is an old school TMNT inspired show and I think it's cool. You also missed dino saucers if im not mistaken

I've always loved the ankylosaur since I watched is put a t. rex to sleep in walking with dinosaurs, which absolutely changed my perspective on herbivores vs carnivores.

Fun Fact about the Carnivores dinosaur hunter original series is that all of the dinosaurs... technically aren't dinosaurs they're aliens from another far off distant planet that vaguely resemble dinosaurs (heavily based off 50's-70's dinosaur reconstructions) So I don't mind their off putting designs

Tank is female. Both the D-Team and the Alpha Gang have 1 female member in both their human trios and their dinosaur trios. Also, the LEGO game Ankylosaurus has a similar color palate to Tank! Look at them side by side!

Ankylosaurus also appeared multiple times in the amazing movie called Dinotopia! It's the first dinosaur that we see in the movie, and later, it appears as a member of the government council of the city, I guess

It's not directly an ankylosarus but the turtle pokemon Torterra seems to be partly inspired by them, it has the same face as Ankylosaurus. It's a cool mix of a tortise and dinosaur.
