5:43 it's ironic you did not like the Speckles's the Tarbosaurus design because its version of Repenomamus is probably the worst I've seen for any prehistoric mammal. it was portrayed in the film as a stereotypical small Mesozoic mammal when in reality it was it was a wolverine sized predator of small dinosaurs.

Ngl, i wish the next video in the series would focus on a Cenozoic animal like Woolly Mammoth or Megalania
@autisticgodzilla-Ай бұрын
How are the claws weak?! Huge claws like that should be decently durable, cause if they were weak then they would be killed off like the common portray of hadrosaur's. When in reality they would need those claws for Defense, eating and display.....and if the claws are weak then it's just a dino that is equivalent to a twig. And the paddle tail for spinosaurus is not super fragile. I don't know why but some claims from Paleo scientists say things that don't really make sense, and I'm not saying that you are one of them. It's just a thing that I don't like.
@DinoGuy8Ай бұрын
It’s based off of a study that measured the stress points of the claws. What was found, were claws that were pretty fragile all around. Of course, the study is still in early stages and will likely have future research applied to it. But it’s important to remember that paleontologists don’t just pull this information out of thin air. They do apply research and close evaluation of the available fossil material. They don’t just eyeball things. On top of that, everything that gets published undergoes peer review, meaning it’s not something that was just thrown out there. This is not to say things are never incorrect, nor will never change. But that’s just the whole game, we learn more with further fossil discoveries and examination. If the claws on the animal didn’t work as a primary form of defense, well it still had its massive size much like many sauropods. other avenues shouldn’t be discounted.
@autisticgodzilla-Ай бұрын
@@DinoGuy8 I know that, but what I'm saying is what is the point of having massive claws if they can't be used as a weapon or a way for getting food.

@@alexthetitanosauremperor6904 username checks out, I can tell you’re a big fan of sauropods, and your bias is showing because sauropods aren’t the only dinosaurs who’ve yet to be covered by this channel. From within dinosaurs, he’s done six theropods, two ornithopods (iguanodon and parasaurolophus), one thyreophoran (ankylosaurus), and outside of dinosaurs, two synapsids (dimetrodon and inostrancevia/gorgonops). He hasn’t done a sauropodomorph yet, but he hasn’t looked at any marginocephalians (pachycephalosaurs and ceratopsians) either. Try to remember that this is a relatively new channel and doesn’t have the kind of following that say Ben G Thomas or Edge TV have, so there’s a much smaller group of people actually voting on the next animal. But the number is growing, so stay tuned and cross your fingers that a sauropod comes up soon, because there’s a good chance that it will.

The behavior of the Therizinosaurus in the Jurassic World Dominion started a long and debating debate about whether territorial animals are deadly and brainless killing machines that kill everything that moves as depicted in the movie or, as I still suggest, give several warning signals and try to scare the threat away first before attacking. However, that conversation did not lead anywhere and was left unfinished, but in my opinion, no territorial animal is a brainless killing machine or an instant killer and Jurassic Park Domonion did a lot of damage to people's understanding of what territorial means and how such animals behave.
