We hatched some more world's first reticulated pythons! Snake genetics are a crazy thing, and we've made some incredible color and pattern combos over the years. Sometimes it takes building for the future to get to the snakes you want to! 🐍

They are all the same breed which is reticulated python. It's different genes/morphs. And you have to look back in each parent's lineage.

I enjoy watching all the snake videos, your knowledge is great, i would love for you to elaborate more. When you state a snake is a (fill in the blank with what genes it has) I would love for you to explain HOW you know it. You stated your daughter recognized a snake with tiger gene bc it didn’t have a white stripe which is how I now identify them but I’d love more detail about ALL the genes you see and breed. It may be very obvious to you professionals but I’m new and eager to learn!

The egg cutting is my favorite type of video. I know some haters don’t like them but I love them and you’re an expert. I find it comical when you started using children’s scissors instead of razor blades. The scissors seem more likely to cut the baby snakes but what do I know. People are something else. You guys are the experts, we aren’t. Use the razor blades and forget the haters I say.

@@Crazy_bitcv Sorry you chose their death rate. I like the egg cutting because I like the idea of how he gives them more like a 90-99% survival rate. Maybe you’re just uninformed. I’ve been watching for years and have researched it. In the wild, allowing the natural way, is a very low survival rate. Forgot the % but probably closer to 10% so I’ll choose his way. Not your way which is the majority of the time death sadly :-(
@Lana11213

@@Crazy_bitcv They don’t all come out on their own. A low number I’d you have done your research about them hatching on their own. Especially in the wild.
@Crazy_bitcv
@Crazy_bitcv 2 жыл бұрын
@@Lana11213 I mean that you cut the egg open but let the snakes do the rest, not that they cut out of the egg themselves like in the Wild, and if they have trouble coming out you ofcourse help them, hes just pulling them out of the egg, what if they're not ready? He said himself that some of them are not ready yet, but still he just pulls the baby out
@raiweltermann9720
@raiweltermann9720 2 жыл бұрын
@@Lana11213 He should allow the first few to pip so they are all definitely ready, wait 24 hours and then make a big enough cut that they can escape if he is sceptical then he should check response with something like tweezers and if they did have an underdeveloped egg tooth they can still come out. so maybe your the uninformed one....

Hello Jay I am wanting to do this job in the future: Running a sanctuary and looking after reptiles and such (breeding too if possible). I would like to know what degrees I need for looking after a place like this (both collage and university degrees) and if it’s not too personal how much money does it take to run the place either weekly or monthly? I apologise if I am asking too much I would just like to know

Ive got a baby retic, But since you're the man with the retic knowledge. Ive got a question, That no one seams to give me the answer for.... Basically, got a 2 month old baby retic.... Alot smaller than these hatchlings in this video.. I was told by the breader that its 25% dwarf.... So obviously that would explain its smaller size... BUT. Im confused.... Does the 25% dwarf mean, That its a dwarf that will only grow to 25% the size of a "normal" retic?!?! Or does it mean, Its 25% dwarf, but 75% normal.. So will get its growth stunted by 25%... therefor, Be 75% the full size of a retic, When fully grown?!?! Been asking this question alot recently... It would be nice to get a accurate and definitive answer... Thankyou
