My doctor in the UK said to me he wanted me to take statins after a yearly medical and said I had slightly high cholesterol, he said you can change your diet but he does not think it will help and will take these statins for the rest of my life. I absolutely was not surprised as I've been following people like Dr Mason, Ken Berry etc for the past couple of years.

The advice around statins changed.. I challenged a doctor about an elder on statins... He knew he should have taken her off them. They all should have taken people off them and stopped recommending them a long time ago and they know it, or they should know it. It was widely reported they caused more harm than good and were no longer recommended... so it shows you how willful they are because of the money they bring.GP's are not audited.. they are exempt.. if that one thing changed...

@@helenwalker2986 I had the same response with my 84 year old Dad who's been on statins for 10 years. I told my Dad he shouldn't be on them and asked him to question his doctor. On his next doctor's visit my Dad repeated to the doctor what I'd said. The doctor admitted my Dad was contraindicated for statins, but recommended he stay on them anyway! So my Dad kept taking them. Mind you, this doctor also told my Dad I was killing myself eating a carnivore diet...

My brother a doctor in the U.K. said to me. “I tell my patients to take statins for high cholesterol. I could tell them to change their diet, eat more veg, whole grains and fibre, eat less meat, dairy and pastry, I know it works, all the research shows it works, but suggesting that they change their diet doesn’t help. I know my patients, the majority of them would never consider changing their diet, pies are a tradition round here, giving advice is a waste of time.” That’s similar to what the doctor told Brendan Bishop. Funny how people hear what they want to hear.

I concluded similar this year. I've stopped consuming Olive oil and avocado oil. Mostly ghee for cooking but using some coconut. Didn't exactly feel right about that either. Mostly ghee now. Confirms my suspicion. My father died back in 93 and the only thought that came up is vegetable oil. Not carbs even though they eat lot of rice since they traditionally eat rice with minimal problems other than weight gain. The thing that changed with Indians is that switched over from traditional ghee for cooking to vegetable oils

It's worth noting that calcium oxalate is one of the two main forms of calcium found in calcified atherosclerotic plaque, so plant compounds may be even more causative. To add to that thought, if US president Eisenhower smoked 2-3 packs a day and that contributed to his heart attacks, then plants/tobacco may have played a significant role in initiating the dietary alterations brought on by Ancel Keys.

He worked hard, active on his feet every day. He slowly went into a sugar craving lifestyle and couldn't stop. Knowing what was wrong and how to fix it is important. How to tell other how to change or why is just about impossible. Only a few will listen. Most have to find it out for them selves. Paul is a legend in simple story telling. I love butter. Hi, im 63, male. If you asked me last year what i thought was the ultimate human diet, i would have said something from the just juice bar. I was wrong. 7mths ago, i jumped straight into carnivore. I was fat sick and bloated. 120kg at 5'10". Im now 86kg, and still losing a kg a week. I have completely reversed arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, ibs, gastric reflux, depression, anxiety, prostate problems, joint pain, sleep apnoea and a host of other conditions most of which i had just put down to age. I dont snore anymore. I sleep like a baby, awake refreshed. My mind is clear and focused. I have dropped into eating once a day mostly, im never hungry, never sleep in the day anymore. Ive kicked my heart meds, and am exercising hard daily. My resting bp is lower without meds than when I was on meds. I eat a fatty steak cooked in saturated fat, maybe an egg here and there for variety. I have regained my life and I am heading back into the workforce. My bloodwork is pristine now, except for an elevated ldl which i dont care about. My real indication of cardiovascular disease, calcium test, returns at 0. I dont know what to say, ive found the golden ticket, and ive come back to life. My doctor was angry at me, and I was angry back; either he was lying to me, or he knew less about nutrition than I did! Im embarrassed that it took me till 63 to learn how to eat. My granddaughter is 11mths old. My daughter has fed her largely carnivore since 4mths. She is literally off the chart in growth and development, she walked at 9mths. She has bacon and eggs for brekky, and loves to chew on a fatty lamb chop at night. Carnivore works. I believe that its the ultimate elimination diet, and that i could add back in other foods without ill effect. Im in no hurry.

Are circulating lipoproteins the cause of atherosclerosis? Yes, but ONLY if the following two criteria are concurrently satisfied: 1. They are oxidized and 2. They reside in the endothelium. Optimizing for the reduction of circulating lipoproteins (such as LDL) pales in comparison to the results achievable by optimizing for confereing said lipoproteins with protection from oxidation. The highest leverage ways to prevent lipoprotein oxidation are to 1. Avoid "vegetable" oils and PUFA in general, like the plague 2. Refrain from cigarette smoking 3. Increase your ratio of saturated to polyunsaturated fat intake and arguably most importantly, 4. Augment your antioxidant status (vitamin C, vitamin E, wild blueberries, 100% pomegranate juice, etc). If you follow these 4 action steps and, for example, your LDL levels happen to increase, keep pressing forward, because there is not a single lipoprotein in its native form that will render plaque formation, irrespective of the amount in circulation.

Nice talk. I was wondering though how relevant the data is from the 1965 study (20:48minute) as the control group ate a normal diet which is vastly different to the diet we eat now or even the late '70s. Thus, there is plenty on research pro Mediterranean diet (olive oil is the key fat here besides fresh seafood and pork) and still way too little on the carnivorian diet. I did paleo back in the early 2000... (thanks to Robb wolf and all the bunch) so its really hard for figuring out what best to follow

@1:44,Dr Mason said that paper reported 75% patients has normal LDL. I read that paper and clearly it didn't say that. LDL level less than 70mg/dL was observed in 17.6%, and ideal levels (LDL60mg/dL) in only 1.4%. So Dr Mason might have interpreted that paper incorrctly.
@elizabethwhite1068
@elizabethwhite1068 11 ай бұрын
I haven't looked at that paper yet, but it might be what you're defining as "normal" that's causing the confusion. The new, lower number of below 70, which is insane and dangerous, is purely pushed by the drug companies. They won't be happy until every man, woman and child are on lifelong statins and BP meds, so they keep lowering the numbers and redefining "normal".

Crush seeds and out come smelly, milky, rancid oil. Take this oil and superheat it and skim off the worst of the compounds, oxidizing the oil. Take hexane, a fossil fuel solvent, and wash the oil to further separate. Next put through various filtering and deodorizing and clarifiers. Now put this clear/yellow seed oil into plastic bottles that will sit "shelf stable" for a year or more and put a heart healthy label on it. Does this sound healthy to you?

Thank you Dr Mason for once again, revealing the truth that was hidden from us for 40+ years. I think I am safe to say just about everyone on this planet (except the tribes of Africa who are still on a proper human diet) know of someone who had died from cancer or have diabetes. It's truely a crime against humanity and I wish those people are held accountable so history does not repeat. God bless.

I saw a video that talked about the Maasai drinking Coca Cola since a truck shows up everyday to sell it to them😡 The article I just read on Google says that their cattle are declining and the people rely on sorghum, rice, potatoes and cabbage( that they refer to as goat leaves🤨). The Maasai were known to be fearsome warriors and cattle rustlers which shows how seriously they took their diet. They eat the meat, drink the milk and blood occasionally. A man’s wealth was measured in cattle, children and wives. They also refused to be slaves

We have eliminated all seed oils from our diet but we live in Italy and use a high grade organic fresh olive oil from local producers. I wouldn't be worried, especially if you buy high quality olive oil but probably its not the best idea to have it on a daily basis. There are also health benefits and the sterol count is quite low and probably lower in very high quality olive oil. The thing is, olive oil has so many different qualities, so it would be interesting which kind of olive oil was measured in this video.

Dr Mason refers to lead particles in petrol. Leaded petrol is now largely replaced by unleaded, a proportion of which is sugar cane generated ethanol. Dr Seneff has argued that this causes the release of glyphosate due to the use of glyphosate in the cultivation of that crop. Glyphosate also has devastating effects on human health, including but not limited to the reduction of EZ water in the body.

Seems those foam cells are isolating the oxidised LDL, waiting for the macrophages to switch from the defensive state to the repair state (as during fasting periods) and come to consume it. Perhaps during sleep they begin the job, but are switched back to the defensive state too soon by the individual eating breakfast and the macrophage goes back to patrolling for foreign organisms. Leaving the cap weakened and vulnerable to rupture?
