There is no doubt that at this stage of Usman's MMA career, he's in the territories of the greatest to ever do it. He's in the company of people like GSP and others. It is unfortunately that he has had so many injuries & surgeries. No matter what happens in this trilogy, from here on out, you have very big, very strong, much younger and faster guys like Leon, Shavkat, Khamzat... and immensely talented guys like Jack Della Maddalena rising up through the Top 15 and Top 10, gunning for the elites at 170... and it's not going to be any easier than last year. Guys like Burns, Colby, Jorge, Usman, Belal... who are around their mid 30s and older... it'd just get more and more difficult, as each year passes, due to injuries & reflexes slowing down. Skills are still there; but you just don't have the ultra quick reflexes you used to have in your 20s to early 30s... GSP & Khabib are two of the few champs who truly retired at the top of their game. As Khabib says, if you keep fighting, you will come across someone who will defeat you... it doesn't matter what you've achieved in the past.

Usman will be hugging and holdling Leon more than I hold my wife. He will not have gaps for Leon to kick. However, I also think Leon is in his head, Leon is much more complete and it gives Usman problems with his wrestling. On paper Leon does everything better than Usman accept for strength and wresting. And Leons' wresting is not like they fought the first time. Leon pulls the win this time in the 3-4rd with a submission.
