Turks are living between Armenians and Greeks. Armenians and Greeks both considered Europeans, and genetically they are closest people to Turks. So, Turks definitely are Europeans, the same as Tatars. So called "Great Mongolian Empire" actually was Tatar-Russian (European) empire.
