I was a NICU nurse for eleven years. I had two high risk pregnancies and two late pre term deliveries. I worked in a hospital where we delivered high risk pregnancies, and in a unit that held over a hundred infants. I can't say what happened and what didn't, but none of this is typical or standard procedure anywhere. She was not term, she was late preterm. That baby in the photo is not 35 weeks.

My nephew was just over 5lbs at full term. Although he packed that weight on so quickly from breast milk. My two children were circa 6lbs and 6.5lbs at full term. I actually think babies are getting larger and we are a bit skewed with expectations. Anderson was pretty big already at 31 weeks. I have experienced hospitals kicking mothers out quite quickly in the U.K.

I just had a baby 12 weeks ago and my baby looked about the size of her baby and he was full-term, now I gave birth of a military hospital and they did put my IV in the bend of my elbow and put the blood pressure on my upper arm of the arm that had the IV. I’m not even kidding so some hospitals don’t follow the same protocol, trust me I don’t like this bitch. I don’t take up for her at all, I’m just saying that with my son I was so large they couldn’t find a vein in my hands or my feet and they literally had to go in the bend of my arm, which is not ideal, but they had to :/ that’s why I lost a bunch of weight before getting pregnant again, so I wouldn’t have to deal with all that

I believe she had gestational diabetes, paired with hypertension. That’s the only reason why they would try to deliver the baby early. that’s why she didn’t tell anybody about her pregnancy because she talked that nonsense about health and weight at the beginning of her pregnancy and then didn’t want people to shove it down her throat and telling her I told you so

Or sometimes if there's reduced movement of the baby they will do a scan and if there are any concerns about the baby they will get the mother in and start an induction. So something like that may have happened.

I think she had GD. All that blood sugar measuring on cam was just for show because otherwise it wouldn't fit her health and weight are not the same narrative. That's also why she had so many growth scans because babies of mothers with GD grow a lot faster and need to be monitored closely

I do believe she was pregnant but I think she’s lying about not having gestational diabetes. My mom had gestational diabetes when she was pregnant with me and my sister. I was born at 37 weeks and I was almost 10 lbs. My sister was 36 weeks when she was born and she was 8 pounds so I really think Alex had it and that’s why her baby is the size he is 🤷‍♀️

I had a c section and my leg definitely was not up lol. I couldn't do that for days. Also my son was 8 weeks early. He had to stay in the NICU for about a week. His weight was normal, but they were concerned about his lungs. They had given me steroid shots about a week before just in case I had to have him early due to my pre-eclampsia.

To me it looks like he has one on if you zoom in on Al’s Instagram post today, where he’s holding the baby, you can see something that looks like one under his sweatshirt sleeve. Also when he’s walking out you can see a white band as well. Who knows about her though, since it seems like she very meticulously avoided showing her forearms and hands. So we can’t tell if she has a hospital bracelet on or an IV of any sort. Of the moms I’ve seen in labor, a lot of them have the IVs either on the top of their hands or to the side a bit so they can still move their arms and bend them. It all seems a bit fishy to me. Also it seems like she’s still using filters! Her jawline is looking pretty chiseled and smooth.

There is a reason why Alex kept her “going in to labor” so hush hush! I don’t know which theory is correct, but she is hiding something! Most likely she either had a planned induction due to being high risk with gestational diabetes (explains why baby doesn’t look like preemie) OR she had a surrogate, and needed us to be thrown off, so she gave us the runaround with the due date! I also couldn’t help but notice, no nursing bra in her last Instagram story! Either way, I don’t think Alex can “out smart” ppl for very much longer! Especially when she comes out with the “birth story” She thinks she’s clever, but as with all pathological liars, eventually their lies gets so twisted, and they can’t keep up with the narrative! My niece was born Aug 6th, due in Oct. It was a whole intense mess to get there. My sister was bleeding(mop floor bleeding) went to ER and sent home. Ob called her and told her to head to their office next day for an US bc she was unhappy ER sent her home. She was sent straight from that US to the hospital across the street and set up with the high risk OB. They were able to keep her from being born two days, enough she wasn't on a breathing machine, but she was in NICU for weeks and also had a feeding tube. She was literally 1 lb. I don't understand how she had a full size, full term baby almost 2 months early!? They used to call my niece the miracle baby in the NICU bc she was so lucky to only need the feeding tube when she was born and nothing else. It's wild to me how this all happened. Yes Nella, the shots are so true. The two days they made it, she had the shots, hoped for a 3rd day but only made it two.

How are they going home so early with a baby that came a month early? I had an epidural but delivered vaginal. I was still hooked up to everything and couldn't walk right away. I was still in my hospital gown and didn't change until I went into the private recovery room. I was able to hold my daughter right after they checked her over, she had all the markings a freshly delivered baby in the pictures my husband took. In terms of surrogacy, the expecting parents have their own room. You are allowed to stage the meeting of your child the way you want to take pictures and bond with your child. This baby appears to be full term, which is why they were able to go home so fast. I didn't stay in the hospital long either, two days tops, because my daughter was full term at exactly 40 weeks. It's crazy how she knew this baby was coming early.

First of all, the baby is adorable! He’s beautiful. I agree though, 100% Nella, that there’s no way that little guy is a preemie (at least not as early as he would be per Alex’s supposed original due date). I spent 3 months in the NICU with my son, born at 25 weeks. I saw babies all day every day for those 3 months. No way he’s a preemie.

Not listened to this live yet, but her confirmed due date after her first scan was 29.09.24, she was 35.5 weeks and not all that are early stay in NICU. He was also pretty weighty at week 31.

I think she was dishonest about the fact that she would have to be induced early because of her fat back. I was not fooled for one minute by her braxton hicks crap. If she really delivered vaginally then good for Anders cause mamma is unlikely to be breastfeeding and at least he got some immunity building bacteria when he slid out. Overall we can all agree that Alex has been a negligent a-hole for nine months and even before conception.

My son was 34 weeks and 4 days when he was born and he didn’t need special care but I did get two injections of steroids which helped him breathe. But he was so tiny and he looked premature in the face if you know what i mean. 😂.

My baby girl was born at 35 weeks and was 5lbs 10oz. She was in the NICU for eight days as she wasn’t able to eat and had to have a feeding tube for a few days and we both had an infection from something. Those NICU nurses were angels! They helped me breastfeed and work on latching. That baby boy looks pretty darn big! I’m so sorry for your loss Nella. ❤

The thing is her 20 week scan matched the gestation dates. She was 4.5 weeks early. My recall was she had an original date of 13 October. Then a dating scan said he was 8 weeks gestation and a revised due date of 29 September. The dates track. She lies about all the other BS. Alex had extremely intensive monitoring from the go and I questioned early on the number of scans in her announcement video. Her lifestyle is modified bed rest. Regular working Jo and people already with an older child and responsibilities would not have been able to manage with the risks Alex had.

No board of vitals for her baby. There always is one. I am questioning this. I had preeclampsia and couldn’t deliver until I was 38 weeks. Dr. Said baby’s lungs aren’t fully mature until 37 weeks. Something is off about this birth. I had a vaginal birth and didn’t get to go home for 4 days. With gestational diabetes, baby gets big quickly. That could be a possibility but it would be a c section.

Oh Nella, I'm so sorry for the recent loss in your family. I know it's so hard. I do envy that you have such a large and loving family. Mine is so small. I always wanted to a big family but just was never in the cards for us. A lot of people died young and then those who could have kids only had one or two. All my Aunts and Uncles except for one have passed (young).We round out the family wiht friends that have become family. Hold up. Alex had her baby? What? Didn't she just go on a Home Goods shopping spree? She had him and is home? He is cute. He looks like her with the cheeks and lips. As for Alex being naked, I do know they do the skin to skin thing now so don't know. I was clothed when I had my babies and when I had my last I only had time to pull off my boots and pants. I was in the ward area (never made it to the birthing room) for 20 minutes and he was here because I labored all day at home. I had a hospital gown on for the rest. My daughter's son was about 2-3 weeks early (not a full month) and he was tiny. Little over 5 lbs. Her son is not a preemie. Did she give his weight? Also, if he was 6 weeks early, his lungs wouldn't be fully developed or he'd be jaundiced or something and they'd keep him in the hospital for a while for observation and to make sure he was fine. They might let her go home, but not him.

But the fact that she spent time posting the shopping video the day after she gave birth just flips me out. I'd be so focused on my baby and being in the hospital, being in pain, trying to manage with the new baby that the las thing I'd be thinking about would be posting my stupid Home Goods shopping trip the week prior (or whenever).

I dont understand how he is a premie if she said her son was in the 90…% so he isn’t a premie. He weighs the correct amount. Also 4 weeks early is not considered a premie anymore. Or he is one week shy of not being a premie. I was a premie and was born 7 weeks early and weighed 4lb. My son was 3 weeks early and he was almost 8lb her son looks big. Big and healthy.

As soon as baby is cleaned and handed to mama they now do skin to skin contact for 12 hours. My DIL just gave birth and that was the exact way we saw her. Having had a C section with my second child i can tell you no way are you back to normal in a few days or weeks. My mother in klaw passed away 10 days after and i was put on pain meds at that point because i had no choice but do things i wasn't supposed to do. Can a new mom be driving as early as she was? I'm old and it was at least several weeks before I was allowed to drive even after a vaginal birth. About my grandchild... It was December that my DIL discovered she was pregnant and baby came a few days before A.
