I'm so happy and relieved that Freddy took him back. There's always the risk that an animal mother will reject the baby if it's been under the care of humans for a length of time. Looks like all is well! Gorgeous little baby!

@@dianecrumbley90 Hi. I found out his mom rejected her idk why? So Freddie just became attached to her and decided she wanted the baby . The baby had got pneumonia so they had to get her health better and now she’s reunifying with Freddie who accepted the baby as it’s own.. I asked if in the wild would the surrogate mom start to have milk if baby was suckling on her? Or would she have died? No one has answered me as of yet. So many people say don’t try to humanize then or compare them to humans but I do see so many human qualities and behaviors that are very much the same as us. The only thing is I think they lack empath or remorse but they still do have a lot of put qualities. 🤗

@@NanaD-ve9tt no she didn’t pass away. She gave birth and just wasn’t ready to be a mommy. So Freddie took over but baby gets bottle fed. They trained them really good. They gotta good system it works!!!

The man said they are providing feedings for Baby G. I don't think Freddy could have milk and they don't show her feeding him which I'm sure they would have if she was.

Just seeing this today, this is absolutely beautiful. To see Mama take her little one and tuck baby G right close to her, and to see her rocking baby G is so awesome. On other gorilla video's....they would teach the baby to feed on a bottle through the cage bars. However, they were old enough to crawl to the bars where the keepers held the bottles. With this tiny infant here.....not sure how they work this out.
