Sounds a bit like the Premier Inn my wife and I stayed in on the western edge of Cardiff over the weekend just gone. Our room smelled musty and looked really tired. The wifi didn't work. And the hotel had provided only one set of towels for the two of us. Receptionists were a tad "distant". I've long been a fan of Premier Inn and have stayed in many of them over the years, but recent experiences prompt me to wonder if the chain is going downhill.
