Love the working in rain/laying pavers. The deck/patio interface, do you just butt the patio against the deck as a border? If so does it require reinforcement? If not, how do you plan to contain the edge? What about weeds? How do you keep weeds from growing in between the pavers?

Yup we make sure the framing of the skirting is super solid so it won’t move with the pavers against it…for weeds that is taken care of by the joint fill material

What an amazing job all the elements I try to encourage clients to have covered room deck and patio and that door is awesome quick question what grades of stone is under the patio as im going to try your way next time thanks

I’ve always seen sand as the top layer before the pavers. Can you explain why you use stone instead?

We’ve found that an open graded base (using clean stone) instead of sand eliminates a lot of issues you can encounter with sand holding moisture beneath the pavers
