My usage 60% city drive n 40% highway in a year . We are family of 4 adult and 2 growing kids. I felt Alcazar will suit me more for city drive n highway and with 2L option it will have good pulling power too Since they stopped it do u suggested 1.5L turbo . Thanks to MW team for bringing this content. Here is my personal opinion. I tried Alcazar when i went to test drive Creta. For those who are looking for affordable price, Kia Carens make sense in terms of best mileage and total on road price compared to Alcazar. Price difference 2 -3 Lakhs for Diesel Automatic. Carens gives mileage 25/litre (Diesel) in NH whereas Alcazar can give 20 km/litre Max (Diesel). P.S: Finally i bought Kia Seltos iMT Diesel and feel happy with that decision. 5 seater is enough for me and my family.

Bought Adventure Edition Top End in Ranger Khaki color. Vehicle is amazing and with the Adventure Edition the road presence is notable now. Performance is undoubtedly good, there is no lag, not underpowered and all. With full loaded and enough luggage the vehicle did its best in driving within city and in highways. Interior is truly premium and comfortable. You can be rest assured about the service support, no need to worry about tht. Mileage was really surprising factor, didn’t expect to give 16 to 18 with fully packed. Overall a worth spent. There are other SUVs in the market with lot hypes, drove them too but for long run and post sales experience, I think is the best option.

Alcazar is a premium 3row SUV with all the bells and whistles. Accept the fact that in any 3row SUV including Crysta, the third row is not for 6foot adults travelling for more than few. Not many people know abt the build quality but its built like a gun. If you are looking for a niche classy, club class product, go for Alacazar. If you want to extract value for every rupee spent and be seen in a common transporter, there are plenty of options in the market

Middle row space is very less even with seat adjustment, i sat in the second row and was totally not happy since it was really less... Hence i dropped this from my list of options. Finally i took MG hector diesel sharp 2023 which has more commanding stance and space in the middle row.... Request you to review the 2023 mg hector diesel varient.... Please.

It’s one of the best diesel engine & automatic transmission perfectly in sync with body and good fuel efficiency. Comfort & features are top class. Though seven seater, driving & cutting in City/ small roads is agile/smooth (like Creta). Price wise also good VFM (it’s just bit higher then 5 seater SUV top model), but comfort you get in second row is un comparable with 5 seater. As clearly highlighted it’s a regular 5 seater & occasionally 7 seater.

1.5 litre turbo Alcazar when drive on a semi highway I could read petrol consumption as 13 to 14 kms/litre on the car meter. But when I calculate the kilometer ran divided with petrol filled gets 8 to 8.2 kms/litre. Car petrol consumption meter is not giving actual milage, but a hyped figure. I have not noticed this till I complete around 8000kms.

Don't buy it, if you want a proper 7 seater. Go for kia carens top variant(or any variant) instead of alcazar, you'll not cry after buying. We bought the kia carens, I feel it's the best decision ever, after driving 1000 kms with 7 passengers(all adults), Everyone was sitting comfortably for a 5 hrs ride and didn't complain even a bit. We had 1 break of 15-20 mins and 2 toilet breaks of 5-10 mins in those 5 hrs.

True, alcazar is really a underrated car, we own alcazar 2.0 petrol Manual, it's very good it's better than diesel with 160bhp , the car is very good and stable and the body also seems to be good , our people need to encourage it even the diesel is good with 250nm torque but all people are criticizing it's small displacement , do review it in person, it's a gem of a car:)))

1. Strongly feel there should be a ban on XENON whitewash headlights. They are a huge pain in the road for everyone around xenon head light. We cannot go infront of it or drive opposite to it. This trend has to stop with complete ban. 2. Another feature that can be removed is sun roof in high end models. Make it a accessory or something. We need to realise the sun roof does not make it feature rich. It literally lowers the value in a couple of years.
