Always interesting what will happen with tech trees who lose their premiums. Israel is the next question mark

While performance graphs for aircraft are something that those of us who are pilots are very familiar with I don't know if that would benefit the general population of players. However, providing a table or listing or graph of the aircraft's performance based on modules unlocked could be useful to players. That would help set expectations and motivate them to unlock those modules.

Could be both, some older GE prems are relatively overpriced so it would make sense to put them in packs or in the techtree

They always remove them and then later add them back for GE, but you have to wait new cycles for them to go on sale again. So stupid. I got the M-51 as it was $15 with premium time and GEs.

Kind of surprised they are removing something like the P-16 since it just came in and with limited Premiums at that BR. Glad I got the A6, A5, and ZTZ on sales the last few months. Both the A5-C and ZTZ96A has been amazing. Between the A5-C and J7-D, I've gotten my China Air Tree to Tier 6 and that's just using them in Arcade and running them like every 10th game I did for US or USSR

Coincidentally, I just did my first battle with that same exact A-5C/ZTZ 96 A (P) combo. I’ve yet to figure out if it’s a good combo, and I find it unfortunate the T-80UD/BE is 10.7 and upsets the BR for the premium pair.

P-16 didn't sell well, very few people bought that. It's collectors item, doesn't make any sense as a pack. Squadron Hunter F58 is infinitely better at same BR, you can just talisman it and research Germany in no time because it's so OP.

@@qltcnit’s a crime to have a plane with missiles that good and 60 countermeasures fight planes that either can’t turn, don’t have missiles or no countermeasures at all. But then give Italians a Romanian plane with 4 aim9B, slower and no countermeasures at higher BR than it. And people say Russian bias never mention the broken Swiss hunter

I REALLY hope that I don't have to get the F-84 now. I'm grinding Japan and already halfway through the research of F-104J before the update and since then, I didn't look at it

Nothing was put in front of the 104J the Thai F-84 was put over underneath the Ki-83 and the A-7E and AV-8S were put between the F-1 and the F-16AJ you might need the 84 to get access to the Alpha jets to get access to the rank the F-4EJ is in though

IDK, I started grinding Japan only for the R2Y2s, got all three of them and halfway to the F84, no idea about it I just like how it looks lol

I'm researching F-1. Going down that line to get F-16AJ to get the research bonus for having top vehicle for Air. Now they put A-7E in the way. Have the squadron vehicle researched, so previously I would be able to unlock Rank VIII, but now I guess I need FOUR vehicles to unlock Rank VIII, so will need to grind F-4EJ as well. Grrrrr

Does anyone remember if you only needed one Rank 7 plane to unlock Rank 8 when the Thai fighters were added? I remember it being that way but when I got the F-5E on the 10th, requirements changed to 3 Rank 6.

@@tezbertzero1915 The matchmaker is the problem at 8.0 sometimes you see 8.7 and even 9.0 not to mention you are always the slowest jet in the match. Even 6.7 jets can out pace the R2s

You know I was actually going to pick up that Swiss aircraft that was in the German tree, but when I found out it was removed, I was like (what was the point of adding it then?), I've always wondered that what is the point of adding in these premium aircraft but then deciding to remove it from the game?, I mean one of the examples I could think of would be the he-219 that's been in the game for years and then all of a sudden they removed, that and thank God I picked it up when I did because Lord knows when it's going to be back on sale, same thing with the Chinese mig-17f.

9:00 was it always one Rank 7 to unlock Rank 8? If not, I think Gaijin may have made a small update of changing that requirement to needing three Rank 6 because on the 10th I got the F-5E and I wasn't eligible to unlock Rank 8

You didn't have to research F-4EJ at all to get to rank 8 F-16AJ before they added Thai vehicles. Soon I'll have to grind the whole 3rd line from the start, and also A-7 and AV-8S at rank 7 just to get those two remaining F-15s And F-4EJ-Kai. This is ridiculous. Also, I hope they will switch the placeholder F-16AJ, which Japan never had, with F-2 in the future, so I don't have to do everything described above just so it's not red and unavailable even if I already have the F-16, but rank 8 is technically locked.

The F-2 is a whole different plane though as it is larger,better radar, weapon suit (ARM) and updated avionics

@@baykazdal I know right, but as some mod has already stated, that F-16 is in the tech tree just because F-2 was too modern for the state of the game at that time, F-15 was still in development, but Japan needed a plane to not fall behind in capabilities, when everyone and their dog was receiving their own F-16 or MiG-29, so they added it as a placeholder. Let's see if F-2 will be a standalone plane, or they'll just switch it like they did with chinese PT-76B and Object 211

It was a dick move to dump all these Thai planes at once. Like what the actual fk? I was on my to unlock top vehicle F-16AJ there. Had Rank VIII unlocked with a squadron vehicle, but still have to unlock Rank VII. Now not top vehicle bonus for me for air for longer time. It's very annoying.

Israeli tech tree argument doesn't really work. You can always just get rank 4 usa or france or britain, and play it for free. But if a person can't wait 1 month and need to play Israel straight away, once they buy F84 at rank 6 (which is basically rank 5 vehicle in terms of BR anyway), they get to purchase Sakeen too, and could just play that. So regardless no one forces new players to play high level premium. They either play 1 month and unlock tech tree naturally, or pay to unlock immediately.

Also, even make it to where if you are a stock aircraft you wouldn't even get chances of facing things like all aspect or do something like if your stock give a certain amount of games where you stay at the same BR battles for 5 or 6 games"giving more then it should be" so you can get threw the first 2 rows or 3 rows so you can at least give players that might not have skill they need to face against Typhoons or F-15s/Mig-29s etc etc.. Like for example the the Hunter F.6 I remember when that jet was a monster and aircraft it faced most of them couldn't even catch the thing. So now the jet faces all aspect missiles and it doesn't even carry countermeasures. So good luck trying to dodge any all aspect missiles it has to face or even radar missiles. Sorry about the book 🥴

Israel should not get rank 1,2,3 because at rank 1 you get many early world war two vechicles and pre war vechciles and Israel didn't parcitipate in world war two so it should be how it but imo it should start at rank V because at rank IV you figth vechicles from the end of world war two which is unfair cuz the M-51 was used after that time like in the six day war which was def not during that time
