Rumors say that the online functionality may be beefed up, so I hope you'll check out that one too. It's one of my favorite games ever, and standalone from the rest of the Xeno series.

To my knowledge, old weapons will be turned into cosmetics. If so, surging them is probably a waste of resources (unless it gets refunded in some way). Only surge armors.

Most important tip I can give is spend your aetherhearts and sparks on powersurging weapons and craft any you don’t have yet. Every 20 “gameplay” weapons award 100 weapon tokens. Power surged count double to a max of 500 weapon tokens. This is the new currency for unlocking weapons and you can only get so many each season so this will be the largest head start to a timegated/pay to win system you can get

2:00 I'm sorry, where does it say cells are consumable/1 time use? I didn't get that impression at all from any of the posts. The post simply says cells will be "unequipped at launch from your existing weapons and armor."

how its going to work is once a cell is placed into a piece of armor its locked in. if u unequip that cell u lose it. so we will be burning through cells like crazy moving forward. its not like how it is now where u can have the same 2 cells equipped on multiple builds. if u ever have to change anything at all that requires u to take a cell off and put a new one on ur gunna lose the cell u took off every time.

Do you know what the cell cores we have now will contain after the update? I have 100s of cell cores i can open in all raritys and a bunch of fountain cores, but wish i knew how the drops are getting changed.

while you were gone here's what's you missed and this isnt everything... RIP to vet players( and repeaters mains) who grinded out every weapon.. - Exotic Helmets are being removed. - The Neutral Element is being removed, all Neutral Behemoths are now other elements. - ALL of your owned weapons will now be turned into transmogs. - All behemoth weapons are being REMOVED from the game and these new weapons count as separate from the new exotics so you do now own them. - The new weapon system not only allows us to level/upgrade them to level 60 but now there is ONLY those weapons you saw. - The majority of lesser behemoths are being removed. - Lanterns are being removed and are purely cosmetic and can only hold your omnicell. - Some of the new weapons use old movesets, like the Hunger uses the Old Sword moveset. - pets are coming . - There is a set of repeaters only available on the Premium Battle Pass and may come to the regular weapon unlocks in the future. Essentially it's a paid weapon. _you and now buy rare/unique weapons. Buy the weapons tokens with Platinum then buy the weapons out right ... - The pack caller skill now summons friendly raptors that assist you in combat. The new repeaters double down on this and let you summon MORE. - All skills now work like Old MH and require a certain amount of points to activate and all cells are now +1 only. - Weapon swapping has unique attacks. - There is also a crown for reforging 1 of each weapon. - The Slayer's Path is being redone We don't know how much of our progression will carry over. - The new Legend Variant behemoths are unique PATROLS that act sort of as Rare Species from MH and will be used for later levels of weapon perk crafting. - all behemoth parts are being used to craft perks on the new weapons. - Bow not worth mentioning... its been years and they still aint ready - The Reward Cache is being done away with. - Individual Trials Leaderboards are being removed so the titles are now a limited commodity.

Shouldnt you save patrol chest keys if youre nowhere near 70 reforges? They have a bounty event so we dont have to worry about tokens. But aethersparks are going to be useless. Do patrol chests still exist after the patch?

yes if ur not gunna have a chance at the crowns id save your keys because patrol chests will be very important after the update because they will start dropping cells after the update.

1 crown requires at least 1 reforge on every weapon at least once which is super easy u can do that in a little over an hour during this double exp weekend. the second more rare crown requires 70 total reforges across any weapon type. so thats totally up to you. i have 15-20 reforges left myself to hit 70 and im confident i can get those done easily in the next three days during this double exp weekend u level weapons very fast.

Hi Great video ty, so i have an account where all my weapons where reforged but i reset the account because my friend wanted to replay the game so i reset the account but now i don't have all the weapons Reforged will that mean i will not get the crown?

@@Z3torq8not 100% sure. If u wiped the account clean then you may not unfortunately. Think the game has to see that the reforges are there when the update happens. You could potentially if it doesn’t work message support and I know there servers keep track of all accounts they may be able to roll the account back or at least check ur old account and see what its progress was and give u the rewards manually. But that’s unlikely

1.) save up ur duplicate cells DO NOT dismantle them into dust 2.) try to get 70 total reforges with at least 1 reforge in each weapon in order to earn both special crowns. 3.) spend all the aetherhearts u get from said reforges to powersurge as many pieces of armor as possible. doing so will make them start at lvl 10 instead of lvl 1 once the update drops. 4.) take advantage over the next 4 days of the double exp event. and burn through all ur bounty tokens and keep taking gregarios repeatable bounty token quest to help u level ur weapons as fast as possible. 5.) stock up on platinum in the store so u can buy the new exotics and new elite Huntpass when it drops. and make sure to use creator code "GLITCHIZ" during checkout for ur platinum to help a brother out lol. ;)

you shouldnt. i said only farm patrol chests if your low on bounty tokens and gregarios quest isnt cutting it. u burn through them very quick on double exp events. if u have enough already though to level then dont farm them save the keys for chests after the updates.

i disagree 90% of the weapons we crafted before we never used. now every weapon is very unique and special. build revolves around ur weapons now not stacked cells. i think it feel much better now. the old weapons were a waste imo.

well first off take advantage of double exp weekend going on right now and burn through those bounty tokens. but for speed leveling. right at lvl1-4ish head to hades reach private hunt with a solid frost build and farm hellions will u reach 14 or so. then i like to head to paradox breaks hunting grounds at 14 in a public lobby and farm the chronostone radiant event till i get to 20

Game was super fun a few years ago when I played it. I think i stopped like, 1 month after they've added the pistols. But now, with all the systems and the way the Ui looks, it feels and looks WAAAY to much like a mobile game to me. It's a major turn off.

Is it just me or is the math on cells a bit...wanky... +1 give 2 new, +2 give 3 new, and +3 give 4. But you need 2 +1 to make one +2, which is a -1 new cells on crafting. And you need 4 +1 to get +3 which is -2 on crafting. So just having more +1 now will net more new cells? And spending aether on crafting +3 is just bad?

Correct for the update it’s better to leave all ur cells as +1 that conversion is strictly for the cells u may have already upgraded to +2 and +3

@ u can open a few but id save some as well just in case we get some new cells or things change with the cell loot pool. They wont disappear so might as well hang onto them till after the update and just use them as u need
