**UPDATE** DO NOT TAKE ANTI-VOID CRADLE PERK!!! i completely misread the description "heavy weapons" on anti-void is for grenade launchers and stuff. Choose the "ANTI-REGEN" perk with the pistol icon, that's the one that's meant for LMGS... MY APOLOGIES!!! ALSO not sure if yall noticed but i miss clicked in that dmg demo and never got my fortress warfare 20% DMG buff... yet still managed to drop boss in less than 1 mag without it lol... this weapon is nuts right now. lol

dont know if you noticed, but that thing you tried to do with the axe (the heavy cancel) doesnt work anymore, you have to do the full animation.

Wanted to point out I had the same thought about the deer hide for mask, this game is poorly translated. It does not refer to impact damage on weapons and does not increase damage/crit rate on impact type weapons. Impact specifically only refers to the shoulder charge attack from sprinting while melee, not even normal melee swings.

u sure?? because when u check V's info page about it it says "impact" element type does bonus dmg to protocell units which is "meta-humans" aka other players, "vultures" and animals...

At least on dummy doing multiple tries with masks with/without any deer hide. It only increased shoulder charge damage and no change to bullet/shrapnel. I didn't know why it didn't work when I tested at first so I asked in world chat and that's when someone mentioned the shoulder tackle attack and it absolutely worked for that. I'd recommend testing it, It would be such a damage boost I would love to be wrong lol

@@TheST3 well it’s def doing allot more dmg to vultures so I think the “V” tooltip is correct. You won’t see that extra dmg on a dummy because they are considered deviants but on vultures and animal u should notice faster kill times with the hides I mentioned

Hitting the Chaosweaver with this gun feels so good - it fills the entire screen with red/orange numbers with my corrosion crit build. I'm at a nice clean 170 mag capacity for this but my hivemate has managed to get higher than 200 xD

Anti-regen is for LMG not anti-void. think the "heavy weapon" on anti-void is for grenade launcher or something. I been running the same build pretty much, its fun but not effective in all situations. the frost vortex 416 build works better with heavy mobs (like "invincible sun" task for example) but this build smacks with light mobs or single boss. I don't have it all fully calibrated yet so I can imagine how it will be when I do. Thumbs up on the build

thanks for pointing that out! totally misread that!!! i've updated the build link to match that update, and made note of it in the pinned comment. the fact that i miss clicked my fortress warfare buff in that dmg demo and had wrong cradle perk, yet still dropped the boss in less than one mag just shows how good this weapon is right now lol. Greatly appreciated! and yeah there's def better builds for dif situations my elemental builds will be next on the list hopefully

dont i if you know it, but the description is completly wrong on the LMG. The original text is for every 15 bulletes above 100 gain +8% shrapnel damage. and +40 magsize

Have you tried the overflow calibration? I think it would be bis because it lets you get way more ammo in the mag and it gives that extra ammo a flat 10% damage boost which is another new multiplier. With that calibration I was able to get 238 bullets in my mg4 without a min maxed build, I knew this gun would be good with it but I haven’t tried it out yet cause I’ve been using the silent anabussy and getting top dps in everything. Truly blown away at the damage it can do, but the shrapnel mg4 looks fun and I’ll be building it next. I think overflow with dual crit rate could massively boost dps due to both the new multiplier and the insane mag size you can get, if there isn’t a cap you could get like 15 shrapnel hits and a mag of over 300 bullets on the conflicting memories because it’s base mag size is so big. And just a suggestion for your videos, I’ve watched almost all of them for once human ans I wish you would include more gameplay showing the build damage outside of dummy dps testing. I’d stick around to watch you killed each silo boss and great one to show how gun performs in “real life” but in real gameplay. The silent anabussy for example has pretty bad dummy dps but against bosses it stomps, I truly am the top dps in all content aside from prime wars using it. It would be helpful to show longer gameplay video of the build so we can see it in action.

The weapon is EXTREMELY STRONG and i love it. The first thing anyone should focus on is getting to I believe it is 162 or 163 ammo count in order to use the weapons full “parts hit” that’s the biggest thing first. Second there are a lot of diffrent ways you can take this weapon since it dosent need crit to proc shrapnel. You could definitely do a renegade build for single target boss dps. Or when in doubt just use lonewolf and do a crit build thar works on everything Overall really strong weapon tho maybe even a little too scary but hey we ballin anyways😂😂

id use the gold shrapnel souvineer if ur just starting out. for ease of use. also depends on the substats though if one has crit and the other doesnt go for the one with crit dmg

Nice video! I've been playing shrapnel since the start so its nice to see a new weapon! Question on the helmet, Gas-Tight helmet, is that no good? Says max parts +1 and 120% shrapnel damage compared to that cage helmet?

@@chrisbyrne9725 it’s bad. The shrapnel hits +1 means u will only ever get 1 shrapnel part hit tech 2 because of the weapon perk. That 1 hit part will do rly high dmg.. that being said that rly high dmg 1 part hit does not do anywhere near as much dmg as 10 part hits at a slightly lower dmg that u get from cage helmet.

I noticed that in general, this build doesn't have good weakspot damage. In terms of DPS for most bosses and silos, is wildfire still the better choice or bingo?

bingo is still good for bosses. just not as fast at spreading marks for other content with larger groups of enemies. ur more than welcome to still use it though. i just find wildfire to be easier to spread marks quick even on a boss and take advantage of targeted strike across more enemies

killing deer. all skin types drop from all deer its all just based on rarity and rng. keep fingers crossed and hope u get lucky. after 20+ kills or so u typically get lucky and get one of the rare skins. they take allot of hunting to get though.

@@thedon7205 yes at the beginning of a new scenario they have staggered start dates so people who joined the game late wouldn’t be thrown into a server with other player who are other way higher level. So it’s common for some later start date servers being behind others

Kill Deer. any deer can drop those types of hide the rare special hides even drop from normal deer its just rng and harder to get.

Tried explosive shrapnel. And its shiiiiiiiieeeeeet on this gun. Cuz it doesnt work as intended i have almost 300 with overflow and stats so im hitting like 10+ shrapnels and iit only counts as 1-2 sharpnel on the explosive count.

Your ending demonstration is a lie. It was done on either a private or test server. First, you have no world in the upper left, second, the axe animation cancel has been fixed and you can no longer do it. Do better.

@@SerangelROM 1. it was on a real server. World 5 of sever x0011 to be exact. 2. Read the pinned comment I missclicked and didn’t fully do the animation. I’m aware it was patched. But the fact I still took boss down in 1 mag even without the 20% buff just shows how good the weapon is. 3. I’ll continue to do the same thing I always do. If it’s not good enough for you ur welcome to watch someone else’s videos
