"Prepare for your Houndoom" Pokémon Ultra Sun & Moon VGC 2018 Baek to Baek Battles - Episode 106

Welcome to another episode of VGC 18 Baek to Baek Battles, a VGC Battle Spot Series as I go on the Championship Battle Spot Ladder and play some games. The goal of the series is to try out new Pokemon, new strategies and learn as we battle one battle at a time towards the end of the season and the VGC 2018 World Championship!
Mega Houndoom is making an appearance for this week on the series and although we rarely get to see it, it can threaten a lot of damage. Since it is the beginning of a new Battle Spot season, I thought it would be fun to showcase Mega Houndoom along with Torkoal Lilligant in order to help set up for Mega Houndoom. In this video, the team exceeds my expectations as it does a lot of work especially the Mega Houndoom!

Once I have used Life Orb/Choice Scarf Solar power Charizard , he is OP but watch out for Rain team and Tyranitar You must have a pokemon who has Prankster like Whimsicott/Murkrow and learns Sunny day

James, you did it again. Like my mind is blown right now like a Blacephelon. I've been trying to teambuild with Mega Sharpedo for quite a while, but I keep running into roadblocks. I hope you'll showcase Mega Sharpedo one day. If anyone can do it, I think it's you. (Also, have you considered joining the Multi Battle League that also features a few top VGC players? I think you have potential)

MrAzri95 i use a 252 Atk 252 Spe 4 HP Adamant Nature 0 IVs SpA Moveset: Liquidation, Crunch, Protect, Destiny Bond/Ice Fang. Crunch OHKO'S Jolly Mega Metagross, Destiny Bond if a There's no other way to get rid of the Pokemon that's giving you Problems or ice fang as it OHKO'S Opposing Landorus-T with a -1 Atk, Protect on the 1st turn to get a Speed Boost and then Mega Evolve. I pair it up with pelipper, Choice Scarf Breloom to Spore Pokemon, Tapu Lele to get rid of Tapu koko, amoongus, fake out Pokemon or other Priority Moves, Liquidation OHKO'S Tyranitar. Bisharp is my other pokemon.That's the team i Built and I'll keep making Changes to improve the team

tbh you wanted a scarf staraptor to take down instantly any threats on m-houndoom, and also adding sludge bomb on houndoom rekts tapus a lot

Interesting though I prefer dragon claw though I get dragon tail can do switch in but I think it would be wise to do more damage and use rockslide for flinch instead of stone edge

The first team i made in vgc 2018 was a mega houndoom team and it seems really odd to me not to have dark pulse on houndoom.

What's the point of Garchomp in this team? Could that be changed to another pokemon or it is vital to certain situations?

Mile Pessina i think he uses that because Lando-T pretty much does garchomps job better but its so overused
