I'd stopped leaving comments on the internet since years and I know we're here for the detailing; but you offering your wife that lovely coffee and her warm adorable smile back at you after a sip was just the sweetest warmest part of the video and I had a happy smile all the way through to the end. So yes, in addition to more of all the other blessings in your life, I also wish you two a long happy healthy life together and that you both continue to cherish each other and never let the love get jaded with the passage of time and the daily grind of life; may God always bless and protect you awesome twosome; lots of love coming your way all the way from Qatar.

Man, I have found your videos so helpful. I just got a 2019 Black Forester with 28k miles that I’m going to prep and apply a ceramic coat to this week. The tips on your channel have been so helpful. I do have one question. There are these white lite scratches under handles where I assume someone with a ring was scraping the area. What would be the best way to correct this? I’m not sure if it’s surface or deeper.
@MirandaDetailing
@MirandaDetailing Жыл бұрын
That's awesome! Yeah those scratches under the handles are usually pretty light and can be reduced by hand polishing with a medoum or heavy cut compound and microfiber applicator or towel. Just lots of elbow grease.

Phil again great video ....have a nice week. Please can i leave some note? I know that you have much much experience with csl , and you are accredited........... Just keep in mind something that my chemist told me. The target thickness of the coating. Gtechink on its directions of use sais ..Soak the application pad with 3 full measures of CSL from the pipette and work the liquid into the pad to get an even saturation Apply in overlapping strokes to an area roughly 2ft by 2ft (60cm x 60cm) This is not by accident....the chemist that created csl, wants certain amount of coating product to be applied on a specific area and not stretch the product beyond as far it goes. This is because the raw material are inside the transfer solution needs certain minimum thickness and volume of the product in a certain area in order to leave behind those gloss/slickness/hardness e.t.c material s that the chemist designed. One of the most common mistakes most users.do.is over stretch the coayings beyond directions to save product....and leads to.premature fails

Hi. Thanks! Yeah getting customers is the toughest thing. You what though…this time of year even we are slow. We have a good amount of regular repeat customers that keep us going, but we haven’t had that many new customers in the past month. Sometimes it just slows down and comes in waves. Just keep on what you are doing and don’t slow down, use social media, KZbin, google business to post

Get some business cards if you haven’t already. Get some shirts with your business name and logo, go to office buildings and present yourself as the owner and that you would like to drop some cards for tenants. Tell them that you would give discount for the first so cars. Go to dental offices, restaurants, open shopping centers and drop some cards. Walk and walk and walk. Knock on peoples doors and be presentable and tell them what you do. That you need to start from the bottom and this is one way to do it. Some people will understand some not, be ready for those. Print some fliers and go to department complex and leave some there, on car’s windshield Good luck! Don’t spend money on adds Invest more rather Invest is when you see that that money brings more busine$$ When you spend money is in something you will see no return This a low season and people are focus on something else, end of year and holidays Don’t spend money this months, wait and start on summer time and when winter ends. Be ready with those fliers and business cards and walk and walk and talk,talk and talk. It’s your business and you represent that business, clean and cut

Hey Phil, as always, I greatly appreciate your truly educational videos. My favorite coating and the one that I have had the most success and request for, is the Armour Shield. Folks love it and the key to to it looking great and lasting is, 1) a thorough prep and 2) good maintenance. Thanks

My go-to’s for enhancements to coat is TLD The Last Polish, micro cut, perfect finish, or hyper polish. Sometimes 3D One but I find I have to wipe a lot to remove all the residue.

I also always give the paint a polish, it’s built into my ceramic coating price. If I notice more than the usual swirls/marring I ask the customer if he would like to spend a little extra to polish the paint more. For new vehicles I use Phoenix eod Fabulous or Sonax Perfect Finish. I prefer the Fabulous. My fav ceramic is Fireball Devils Blood and Kronos by Phoenix.

I've used Crystal Serum Light, Carpro Cquartz 3.0 so far. The CSL was overcoated with EXO v4. Afterwards I put on Ceramic Sealant C2v3. After Cquartz I put on Carpro Reload. So far I think I like CSL alittle more. I will be using Gyeon coatings coming this spring. It was gifted to me. (That was so cool, and appreciated). Question: do you like CSL better then Ultra? Yes please. Do more coating videos of any kind! I'm very eager to learn! Great video. Hi wife.

I use the sonax perfect finish on almost everything it can be pad dependent, found that the Gtechniq panel wipe very harsh compared to the Gyeon prep less chance of marring. Do you always clay a new vehicle and what is the least aggressive method ? Coating new cars is nice however had a new black truck that somehow needed a two step after some bad wash methods but customer only had one step done still had minor defects for a new vehicle I wasn’t happy delivering it but they thought it was good Also what’s your preferred temperature to apply coating? Using Csl
@MirandaDetailing
@MirandaDetailing Жыл бұрын
Hi. Cool. We only clay if the paint needs it. If it feels gritty then we use the clay mitt or bar. When it comes to polishing and trying to make the paint look perfect I only go as far as the customer is paying and wanting. Usually it’s the detailer who can spot the paint defects not the customers. I would rather it be warmer then cooler for applying costings. 60’s and up is perfect for any coatings for us.
