What are you soaking the Kirkland towels and applicator in after use? Do you launder them as normal after soaking? Does that salvage the towels or are they demoted to less intricate work? Keep spreading that knowledge, your content is excellent.
@MirandaDetailing2 жыл бұрын
Hi. Yes I soak the towels with dawn or a few oz of APC. Then I wash them and check them for softness. Sometimes they crunch up. But often they are fine to use on regular details that we don’t polish.

Excellent job! One thing about the new Gyeon Coatings, at least MOHS Evo, it does not harden like other ceranic coatings. Still a great coating, but dont excpect and marring resistance.
@MirandaDetailing2 жыл бұрын
I thanks! Really? I have found the new EVO line actually hardens my towels and applicator even if i soak them in water and apc! They are now harder and better than before! But honestly I never advertise ay coating, even the Gtechniq Ultra and Gyeon Infiniti coatings as being resistant to marring or scratch resistant or anything. I just don't want my customers getting the wrong idea.
@orthodox17172 жыл бұрын
@@MirandaDetailing wow, interesting! I saw a video of a trusted detailer who showed his mini suede applicator cloth not hardening after application of MOHS Evo. 🤷🏻♂️ I think that’s very smart you do not advertise coating as any type of scratch resistance. I don’t throw the towels out. I soak and wash them and if they are soft I reuse them on other details on the paint. But if they are crunchy I throw them out. But if you soak them with an APC or dawn soap then wash them they usually remain soft.
