Hey, love the vids. Question for Zac. What does he think about the length of the standard chain? There is not a lot of room for adjustment. BMW have said that’s how it’s supposed to be but my dealer has complained as once it’s slack they are having to replace chains due to the lack of adjustment!

Peter Hamidzadeh all about rear axle placement. Yeah you can run a shorter chain but bike will want to wheelie more and steer faster. If longer chain more stable harder initial turn in. 120 links is Happy medium. Stock chain should last at least 12k mi. If taken care of if not longer👍🏻

True about the modes being like different bikes but.... We're riders. Nobody got in this shit to pussy foot around so I suspect that someone on that plan would go about beefy 600 to s1000 all out in tops 600 miles lol. Can't trust us. Is there any difference in the Canbus system on a GS vs a S1000R in regards to max electrical load, load management etc. Reason being I'm trying to install some Weiser Technik 2in1 indicators and for some reason I cannot figure out they are not switching to yellow indicator.
