Blimey, Matt... You got very lucky with that shell! I've never seen one in such rust free condition! Mind you, when I was playing with minis in the late '80s and early '90s, they were all £200 or £300 bangers that I drove until they failed an MOT.... They were rustier 30 years ago than yours is now.

i have watched a lot of mini builds in my time and i have to say i have never seen one to this standard. the detail in the reinforcing and the cage is 2nd to none. when you opened the tin of paint i did wimper a bit but it is absolutely stunning. i really hope there is more to come on this.
