Questions: 1. What's the white powder base? 2. Can it be substitute with something else like flour or example? 3. How long does the incense burning like this last?
@PinkPixiesMustDie2 жыл бұрын
I saw the video by Owl Moon saying it was white ash, and the airy powdered texture allowed the incense to burn completely. Flour would be dangerous to use as it is highly flammable and could spit flames outwards. Do not use flour with flames, sand or dirt would be a safer alternative.
@thereinthetrees_56262 жыл бұрын
Don’t use flour, that is just… stupid.

@@PinkPixiesMustDie can we use strach instade
@PinkPixiesMustDie2 жыл бұрын
@@alaaalbanna3200 no. Starch is also combustible. Owl moon recommended using sand or salt if you can't find white ash. Since sand is stone it's not going to burst into flames and salt has too high a melting point to catch fire either.

Hello I haven't timed it but maybe about 15 minutes different moulds last longer than others I have one that only goes 5 mins tops

My incense powder always sticks to the mold. It’s so annoying. I end up just piling it up
@liquidthex11 ай бұрын
That might be a property of the powder you have I'm not sure :( Mine sticks a little bit but I give it a tiny little wiggle left and right before pulling up, not too much or it'll ruin the lines
@mmmumuw2 жыл бұрын
I make the mold my self. It is not as good as the very nice traditional ones. But burning it this way is always satisfying. 👍👍 😁

What happens to the brown powder after its finished burning? I mean how do you clean it and make new ???

I mix it into the rest of the white ash which slowly becomes more gray until I replace it entirely. The ash is fairly cheap.

@earthy78982 жыл бұрын
Hi, I'm Vietnamese and agarwood is cultivated in this country but I still do find it expensive. Have you tried cedarwood? I dry the cedarwood chips in the oven, grind it into powder. The cedarwood itself has a very nice sweet smell, but I add sandalwood essential oil to it. It smells amazing! Make sure that the powder is very dry and fine, or it won't lit!

The base is white ash. I got mine today from Amazon and a starter kit of the pieces seen here today. The set was $28.00 can't wait to try it all. I burn incense of some kind every day. Good Luck to all who try this. It has to be therapeutic.
