Daniel - in a car wash first they pressure wash the mud etc and then soap it then pressure wash the soap off. They do this because the way you do it, you trap micro rocks and bits of sand and dust in that sponge and then scratch the car as you clean it. Basically you're creating sandpaper. And then the car will be filled with tiny scratches that u will see in the sun. and even big scratches if you accidentally catch a bigger pebble in the sponge.
@LukoBala17 күн бұрын
about your questions - when you wash dishes you don't have little rocks and sand in the sponge - but if you want to test it then get some gravel from outside put it in the sponge and wash some metal pot with it and see how it looks afterwards; also, when you wash windows with a sponge - the hardness of glass is quite high and also u dont have really bits of rocks and stuff in it - just some dust - for ex you can't easily scratch the glass of a phone with a coin - but try that same coin on car paint. also, i imagine you want to resell this car at some point - stuff like this will affect the resell price.
@HidingInMyRoom198917 күн бұрын
I disagree. There’s no scratches at all I don’t scrub it that hard

The Lord estate is looking great as ever 👌🏻But Daniel I have to say this.. The way you wash your car is soo bad for the paint... You scrach all the mud in circles.. That is why everyone is rinsing the car with a pressure washer first.. Now you just spunge up the mud and use it as sandpaper with the spunge.. Also you never start at the bottom of the car because that part is the most dirty part.. your bucket is basically instantly filled with sand.. Please look up the '2 bucket method'. Just a few tips
@HidingInMyRoom198920 күн бұрын
I don’t see any scratches
@HidingInMyRoom198920 күн бұрын
There’s literally no scratches. You people are talking rubbish again
@hotdokete20 күн бұрын
But you understand the theory right? It is undeniably logical that it is likely to cause scratches at some point/over time, if you habitually rub the dirt and grit over the paintwork.
@HidingInMyRoom198920 күн бұрын
I’m not rubbing it that hard 🤦♂️ That’s like saying you shouldn’t wash windows with a sponge because it causes scratches You shouldn’t use a sponge to clean the dishes because it makes scratches What stupid logic is that
@hotdokete20 күн бұрын
@@HidingInMyRoom1989How tiresome... there are few other items that get spattered with potentially abrasive road grit like a car does all the time. Whatever. It is the logic that every car-owner who isn't perversely contentious learns at some point. Usually because they are interested in not damaging their car.

10:47 Some portable pumps/sprayers don't need to be plugged in, they can run off a rechargeable battery. Plus you could save money on the Mud Daddy by just buying a generic hand pump pressure washer, basically they'll be cheaper as you're not paying for a brand name.

Why not just use regular £10 garden hose you probably already have at home to avoid constant pumping of £50 "mud daddy".
@Sean-ll5cm20 күн бұрын
Surely there has to be a reason he's not using a garden hose? Goes from pressure washer to a portable dog washer...
@BreceLuu20 күн бұрын
You should have cleared all the mud with the hose first because you were basically scratching the paint with all those small particles trapped in the sponge. It's like sand paper 😵
@HidingInMyRoom198920 күн бұрын
The mud is stuck on. the hose wouldn’t clean it off it’s not a pressure washer. I can’t see any scratches
@kimlambert439420 күн бұрын
You should use the house hose that your mother used in a prior video
@thegritsch20 күн бұрын
Yeah I was about to say that, be careful to not have any stones on the sponge as they'll scratch the paint if you rub it over
@lifeonamarble96120 күн бұрын
Please stop, you make too much sense🤣, Danni won't listen lol. He doesn't understand that there will be micro scratches that over time will deteriorate the clear coat. Oh well, I would use one sponge for mud and tires and another one for the car body and windows.

Yeah he lives a better life than most people in the UK too. I live in an English village which is lovely but could only dream to have that house and garden he has. I hope he starts to appreciate this. I grew up on a council estate in Luton..couldn’t get much worse than that! It’s why I can appreciate where I am now. But I’m not sure if Daniel has ever experienced poverty? Could be wrong.

This seems like a normal suburban home in America. Nothing really all that special. I mean it’s a beautiful home but it’s pretty much standard for much of upper middle class suburban America. I guess i don’t understand why so many comments point out how amazing his place is. It’s nice but pretty much standard in my neck of the woods.

@kimlambert4394 you ain't never been to UK then, Kim😅 you Americans think all us Brits live like the Royal Family in posh mansions...but the majority of England is rough and poor and tiny cramped houses. This Daniel guy is living like the top 10% of the nation. Seriously.
