Muddy Feet is really good! I agree on the lack of knowledge on flatness of residential contractors. I almost wish there was concrete flatwork certification.

I didn't know they say that about the weather in Texas too! I've only ever heard if you don't like the weather in Oklahoma wait 15 minutes. Freaking neat. Get well soon my friend.

Kinda wish you had an episode#. That way I could follow your progress, or find the previous episode of this particular project.. Right now I'm so confused as what you did before this one and the one before that one.

The Panosaurus was awesome- like maybe a good place to swap in an LS engine! But you would need a huge slab to work that big doggie! I've had to work stuffed up a few times- it's never fun and sometimes can have you down for a few days after- be careful, be well. Remember your first job is your family- they really can't replace you, Erik! There are so many associations and societies within our trade groups- maybe there is one that might take your input on the Ff requirements into a bigger perspective! Matt Risinger is somebody else that might want talking to. The job may already be hard- you are never satisfied till it's dome better! Vaya!

Thank you for posting. Good stuff all around Erick. Thank you for your detailed explanation. Learning lots from your channel. Pleaese be careful in Dallas. Some crazy stuff went down there about 50 years ago. They passed on the concrete shoes if you know what I mean. :/

I like your channel I was a concrete contractor for years started out residential then commercial and from there went into military projects. I know all about FF an FL floors. Military contracting you have to have certified floor finishers from ACI so I sent my top finishers and myself to Atlanta to get certified. I had about $400K invested in finishing equipment 5 8ft riders, 10 walk behinds Somero laser screed and the power rake. I know all about night pours because here in northwest Florida it gets hot during the day. My biggest job was Elgin AFB we did the structural and civil concrete for the new F35 for the Air Force and the Navy and Marine Corps a very big job that lasted almost 2 years. There I times I miss it and other times not at all. Anyone that has been in this business all has horror stories.

If I had to be there that early, I would think about having a topper on my truck or small towable camper to sleep in on site. Especially if your paying for hotels. As long as your client is ok with it. Save time and money. Unless you just have to have that wonderful continental breakfast.
