I don't know if you are still responding to comments in this video but don't get your dresser from IKEA, Target or any of the big companies! Get it from family stores. They Import wood illegally from protected places and build them cheaply. They are so cheap that the weight is off once you pull the drawers out. Many babies and toddlers have been crushed to death by them and the numbers are rising. It's becoming a problem.

@@JadeTheLibra right now we use the Graco Trax Jogger 2.0 stroller and it works great on bumpy trails and I feel super fancy with it. Whenever my son was a newborn we used a Graco stroller system very similar to the one you showed in the video and I did not like that stroller at all! It started getting squeaky and couldn’t go on gravel or grass very well…so we upgraded!

@@JadeTheLibra I have no idea what I want to do whenever this new baby is here, they will be 18 months apart so I’m not sure what type of stroller would be best yet! I’m just going with the flow. 😅 I do have must have recommendations! The double zipper sleepers are amazing, avoid any sleepers with buttons. Velcro swaddles were extremely useful and muslin burp cloths are the best ones to get! They are very absorbent and super soft. As for car seats, we got him an evenflo with sensorsafe and I love it! It has an app that will notify you about various things, like if your baby is too hot etc. Oh, and one last thing…a car mirror or video camera system so you can safely glance and make sure baby is okay during car rides.

Are you going to get a changing table to change the baby's diapers ? Tall so you don't have to bend over to change your baby diaper. The stroller is nice. Sorry, I can't help on that. I had my daughter 12 years ago. You can get I forgot the name slang to put you baby in like you carry your pup in. The pillow where you can breastfeed is nice. Baby will get heavy holding him while you feed him. Good luck. I hope you have a healthy baby boy. I love it. You call the baby a little gremlin.

Honestly for me, any stroller that's light and you can easily fold down, flip open and lift it in the car was key. Hauling all the baby stuff everywhere is a whole vibe. Your stroller is like home base. Has to be easy to pack.

Hi Jade! I wanted to give some recommendations for your registry! My mom was a pharmacist and something she noticed new mothers would forget to put on their lists were infant pharmacy things. Like tylenol or ibuprofen for infants, saline spray, an aspirator, gas drops, butt paste or aquaphor for diaper rash and gripe water. Everyone swears by the gripe water! I just wanted to share this because I still do this for any baby showers I go to 😊 It's something you don't really think about until you need it so I just wanted to share! So excited for spooky baby vlogs!

As a mom of three gremlins my youngest is going to be a year in a month I would suggest a stroller that has the option of them facing you even when they’re out of infant stage. My youngest is very shy and doesn’t like people he doesn’t know and will cry if he can’t see us, it makes it easier for store trips because they fall asleep looking at you, and it’s easy to give them a bottle and treats 🖤

I hated hearing I was having a geriatric pregnancy. LOL. But my son was born when I was 38 and 20 years later, he's wonderful. I can't recommend a flavor for the diabetes test, because I don't think I had a choice. Due to family history, I had a lot of holding my breath and waiting for the other shoe to drop. Just remember to breathe and enjoy every moment of this time. As for the nursery, you don't have to have everything done. I loved having the car seat/stroller combo. My kid slept in his car seat more than once when we traveled. Relax. You're going to rock this. Congratulations again.

Get whatever stroller that the carseat moves directly from the car and snaps into the stroller. You DO NOT want a fancy stroller with a bassinet only that requires you to take a sleeping or warm baby out of the seat to put in the stroller. Particularly in the Midwest, we didn’t use a stroller to just go out and about in the winter anyway. We loved the simple Graco seat with the caddy stroller!

After raising two kids, having a daycare for 30 plus years, a black recliner/rocker is way better than a glider. Not only can you rock and recline but nurse, feed, cuddle and sleep better in a recliner. The softer arms verses the wooden arms are so helpful and more comfortable. Good luck with everything! As a mom of a 7 year old and 3 year old and one on the way (due in August!) I went with the Graco click connect system. We got it when we registered for my oldest and the ease of the carseat clicking straight into the stroller frame and then easily transitioning into the bigger seat with the attached snack tray is great! And it has lasted years! We used it for my oldest, then again for my 3 year old and are planning on using it with this next one too! And you really can't beat it for the price!

I have a 1yr old and 2 yr old back to back pregnancies. Youngest was high risk low birth weight and small, had to go in EVERY WEEK to have scans to make sure she was OK. I wouldn't wish high risk on anyone. Partner and I are both small people im 5ft partner is 5ft 7 and oldest daughter has always been small too. Giving birth to our youngest she was born and there was a true knot which is SUPER RARE. I couldn't believe that we went in every week, and they never spotted it. She's thriving in the 4th percentile which is great (for her) and just a sweetheart to her older sister. Take things as they come, you've got this love your family, and the spooky baby content♡♡♡

Goth mama of 2 here. We used an Evenflo travel system, it allowed for the infant car seat as well as a bassinet then eventually conversion to a normal stroller. I loved that it allowed for backward facing as I had my little one towards me so no one could just get up in her face when walking. We also use Evenflo carseats, they have great every stage of life convertible seats. The one we have right now in my car (main car) has a sensor safe and alerts your phone if the temp is to high or low, if the baby has been in the seat too long, and if you leave them buckled but leave the car. We just have a normal every stage evenflo in our secondary car. Definitely would recommend A

Jade, here are my comments without having read any of the other comments - I've raised two kids who are now 30 and 28. First, you tested the strollers when empty. I'd stick something weighty in there and try again - they can move very differently when holding weight. Second, unless you plan to only use the stroller when at home, you *really* need to test folding it up and unfolding it, since you'll be doing that a ton, I assume. How easy it opens and closes (and lifts into/out of the car) and how smoothly it moves when there's a heavy baby in it, are the most important. The first stroller I was given had to be returned. It was very heavy, was a bassinet style, and didn't easily collapse. We loved the stroller I ended up with (can't remember the name), but I *also* got a simple umbrella stroller for later. They aren't that expensive and was great for the toddler stage. My kids were two years apart, so I never needed a double stroller.

It has saved my back, and I'm only 5foot 6in, the regular changing tables are sever inches shorter! ALSO! at IKEA definitely get the SKUBB Drawer organizers for the dresser! As foor stroller combo, I got Britax B-Free & B-Safe Gen2 FlexFit Travel System - Midnight, it is all black, and rolls really well, and the handle bar is adjustable so it rotates to go higher! Also love that the stroller folds really easy and opens well too. I love the large SOLID rubber wheels, no way for them to get a flat! the only negative is that the stroller doesn't have it's own baby handle bar across the seat for the baby, and I added a "hanging" basket with cup holders for the handlebars.

If you're going to be doing a lot of walking or jogging with your baby, I'd suggest one with the one big jogger wheel in the front. The four wheeled ones are really difficult for longer distances or over bumpier terrain. Lots of storage space, easily foldable, and part of a travel system are nice perks too. My Graco jogger travel system has served me VERY well. Everyone has different needs though, so do what works for you. 💜 P.s. Clementines were one of my big time craving foods too, along with cantaloupe. 😸 P.p.s. Sorry for adding so much... But as a fellow "spooky mom," it's always better to sacrifice the black or grey color option for better function. It feels kind of crappy when you buy whatever it is, but you're always thankful that you made that "sacrifice" afterwards. My travel system was grey and lime green, but I'm so happy I chose it over the all black option with lesser features. You can always wrap your baby in goth styled blankets and hang your skull printed diaper bag off of the handle bars to "spook" it up! Spooky stickers are nice sometimes too. At some point you'll be too tired and stressed to give two craps about all that anyway... 😂 Good luck, honey! 💜 Edited for spelling and to add points

Hey ghoul hey!! You look amazing! Just wanted to say, I had a spooky little baby last year (around the same time you're due) so I'm living for your baby content!! Also want to share: we have an Uppababy Cruz and we love it, but we are city dwellers and use it often. This model does not convert to hold 2 kiddos, but it's more narrow than the Vista (so easier to navigate through doorways etc.). We also have a Nuna car seat, and a Nuna TRVL (smaller, lighter stroller) that we love and use regularly. With the Nuna car seat we just purchased an additional piece (not expensive) that allows it to click into the Uppababy stroller. Pro tip: If you get an Uppababy carriage, don't buy the bassinet (though I think with the Vista it is included in the price? I could be wrong) you can usually find parents selling the bassinet on Facebook Marketplace on the cheap. The issue is the babies don't fit in it for very long, and they're usually gently used so people want to try and get rid of them! All of the soft parts of the bassinet can be removed and are machine washable as well...... ALSO-- ghoul, in case you haven't heard of these websites for spooky baby stuff, please check 'em out: www.witchinghourbaby.com www.skeletots.com www.babyteith.com ... We had a few names picked out. When she was born I just knew what her name would be. Milagros, miracle in Spanish, short Mila. Her brother was stillborn from the same condition that our miracle baby girl was saved from. She was so strong, when the doctor pushed her back when my cervix gave in at 21 weeks and stitched my cervix closed, our baby girl held perfectly still, it was a true miracle and we made it almost full term. Our anatomy scan saved her life because the tech saw that my cervix was opening and we found a specialist to do a cerclage, to close it. I am so happy we have these Scans these days. Congrats on your anatomy scan , that went so well! You’ll know the perfect name when you hold your baby! And it’ll be perfect.😊

It worked as a backward facing and forward facing seat, had special padding that we could remove as our son grew, and we used it as an infant seat and young toddler seat. When my son was finally too big for the car seat portion, we were still able to use the stroller without the “car seat” attachment.

Love my evenflo pivot expand. It was easy to use don't have to worry about purchasing a bunch of extra attachments separately. The under carriage is a lot of room and easily accessible with 2 kids, I've seen a lot of moms with double strollers struggle to grab whatever from the undercarriage. And most importantly I was able to get this stroller in and out easily for solo trips. Also make sure you can fit stroller in car.

I have the Baby Jogger and absolutely love it. Going on 5 years and that thing has still held up. I find it really easy to collapse and pack when we're going places and the wheels hold steady when you have to push on grass or something like that. The snack tray you mentioned is also super helpful with a bigger kid, and it's really easy to clean which I love.

I have a graco travel system and I love it ! However I stopped using the stroller a lot once my little one could sit in the shopping cart.Personally with my next baby I would baby wear as much as possible in store/ shopping because the stroller limits what you can buy because there’s nowhere to place your items! But if you plan on a lot of outings, trails, zoo, ect I would invest in something you love.🤎 Also I highly recommend a bed side bassinet. During those late nights it was so nice to just sit up in bed and feed little man and it eased my mind having him right next to me. I also recommend to all my first time moms a weighted sleep sack, velcro swaddles, and large burp cloths. Hope some of this info was helpful!!! I love that you are allowing us to be apart of this baby journey it’s so special! 🤎

I HIGHLY recommend a baby swing. I know, I know, you aren’t supposed to let them sleep in it but hear me out. My baby that is now 2.5 slept in a swing almost every nap and when he was sick especially with RSV. We were always present when he slept in the swing but it saved our lives. Also a bassinet that vibrates or moves. Just know you will never know what your baby will like or what will help you until it happens. Don’t spend a fortune on anything except a crib and a car seat. A stroller that holds a car seat is amazing but you will change your mind about what you need at the year mark.

I have an older modle graco double with all the extras(bassinet, 2 extra seats, and infant car seat) which I've used for 5 years across 3 Littles and it has stood the test of time. It's huge, heavy and a pain to lift into my trunk. I used it 90% for walks around the neighborhood. I love it but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND (Jade and everyone) to get a binxy baby. It's a hammock that straps to a shopping cart and can hold your infant or carseat. It saved me so much hassle when going to the store. I hope you see this. Sorry for the jabber @JadeTheLibra

Stroller advice: make sure you can push it with 1 hand, measure your trunk and make sure it fits, and splurge. Had a friend who didn’t and ended up growing through 3 strollers. She ended up with the bob and loved it. I got the Nuna because the car seat was light weight and the system is so easy. ❤ luck!

probably way too late, but i think after having my baby almost 2 years ago, and with how much we used and still use the stroller system we got, we decided on something in the middle range, i am happy we DID NOT go with the top tier system, because it gets covered in milk, then snacks, maybe barf and poo too? i think something in the middle was a good choice. i believe what we have is the GRACO Modes 3 Lite DLX Travel System with SnugRide 35 Lite LX Infant Car Seat ? and the perks of getting something cheaper...if you dont love it, you can always upgrade. i had a really small baby, so she was able to use this specific car sear until about 19 months old, and now we use a toddler car seat with the same stroller.

I didn't use my stroller much. I baby wore alot due to ease and that's what my boys preferred. Online may have more colors available. Orange and lemon lime glucose drink, I didn't struggle much with my test, maybe a little shaky. Chico is also a great carseat/stroller combo. Agree with stroller advice!!

I highly recommend the Uppababy Vista, Jade. The wheels roll the best, the bottom cargo bay is so spacious, and the frame is nice and light despite its generous size. It has wonderful touches like the way the bassinet and stroller seat collapses for transport, vent windows, and an extendable shade net on the bassinet. It clicks together nicely with the Uppababy Mesa infant car seat. It is absolutely the most versatile and adaptable system of them all. It also has an adjustable length handlebar to accommodate people with different height/reach.

One other suggestion: unless you are a tireless scrapbooker - keep a LARGE tub (with a lid, think rubbermaid) and as you get drawings and pictures from your little guy and just put them in the box as you get them. Then, one day when they are older and you have time, you can pull them out - newer to older - and then put together a scrap book. Best advice I got when I had mine.

I have 3 kids, twins and then 1, and Graco makes strollers you can use from birth to toddler for a fraction of the price, I had a Graco for all three. The bucket seat would just click into the stroller seat (facing you) and when they outgrew it you put them in the normal seat. It was super helpful just unlocking it from the seat base in the car and snapping it onto the stroller.

My bub is 8 months old, I went straight for the jogging strollers. Big wheels, shocks, the ability to take it literally anywhere, we ended up going with a BOB stroller. We traded a bit in exchange for the weight of the unit (it's a little heavy), but it's nice. It fits babies up to like 4 years old, the back has the ability to recline, and the handlebar is adjustable to accomodate height differences in parents.

I really like a stroller with the attached car seat. I have three children and Iv owned one for all three. I can't imagine not having it honestly. It makes the transfer from car to stroller/shopping cart so easy and if baby is sleeping you can safely move baby and let them sleep without waking them knowing they are safely buckled in. IMO it's a must have

A mum of 2 here! I personally would save on the stroller. Once they hit 5 months and wanna sit up and look around a bit/lie down after a while I just got a basic push chair that’s easy to put in and out of the car and saves space. Once both outgrew the bassinet I didn’t bother with the bigger stroller as it’s so hefty and awkward to constantly get in and out of the car etc. Also I didn’t plan for a second I just keep hold of the stuff we bought to hand down 🙏🏻xx

Wow Jade, the baby’s heart beat is strong! Thats wonderful! About the stroller, I believe its important to get one that will be sturdy and not fall apart like a wheel fall off or something. It needs to be a safe one most of all. If you go shopping a lot and go places a lot you would get your moneys worth from it. If you don't go out too much and not use it as much pay a cost for the best safe one you can use. If you find your life style changes you can get a stroller as you need it. Or if you get a two carrier stroller you can ether put Neens in to ride or store extra diapers and baby supplies in it and not have to buy another. You may want to just get a bassonette stroller now for when the baby is tiny and then upgrade later if you want another. You are definitely going to need pampers. See if the dollar store has them. If you want to get your own basics, in case you don't get them from the baby shower, get little bibs, tiny cotton shirts to wear with the diapers, pacifiers, baby bottles if you use them, baby socks to keep his feet warm, little shoes, put little socks on his hands so in case he scratches his face when exercising his arms and hands, lotions for when changing his diapers, baby foods and things like that you will need. You will know what you need as the time comes if you're not sure. I’ve noticed some nice long maternity shirts in Target. Your black house coat looks nice. Oooo I love that black crib! Get whatever makes you happy to look at whenever you walk into the nursery. Not much happening here except I have been craving baskin robbins icecream. Lemon custard and very berry strawberry is my favorites. Love you Jade the Libra!!!

I can relate to you feeling the way you do about your pregnancy scans. As a fellow mom who had a 'geriatric pregnancy', you're always kind of expecting the worst news and then it's surprising when you're told that everything is okay. Just take really good care of yourself. All the complications I had happened literally in the last half of the third trimester with absolutely none prefacing that period, so it was weird. I'm not saying that happens with all of us slightly older ladies when we're carrying a child, but I believe it's statistically more common vs developing complications early on when you're younger. If your blood pressure is good and your doctor approves, definitely do some pregnancy pilates to start getting your body ready for delivery. It'll make a world of difference. You're doing great, though! I can truthfully say we didn't buy many fancy or expensive things for our little one, as we (correctly) figured our son would be our only child. All of the items we purchased really just had to last as long as our son needed them and anything that survived got donated to other moms or charities that provided to needy families. We literally got by with an umbrella stroller that cost about $12 at Toys R Us (when Toys R Us was still around), though I can see the benefit of buying a fancier one with actual features. I believe I speak for all of us when I say that we can't wait to see how you and Dallas set up your little gremlin's nursery. Just enjoy it for the first year and a half or so because you're probably not going to be able to do much in that room re: Halloween until he's out of the "grab everything and put it into my mouth!" phase, much less the destructive toddler-kindergartner phase.

I paused when you started talking about the “too good to be true’s” and waiting for the other shoe to drop…I think when you have health issues you kind of anticipate a wrench in the plans and I know I felt that way. My daughter wasn’t even suppose to even have been a thought and everything went SO well! I was expecting everything to be so much worse! My advice- try to enjoy the small things and celebrate allllll the things! So excited for you both and thank you for taking us with you! We just found out our oldest (26 turning 27) is expecting with his girlfriend. All my kids are all almost grown so these vlogs are getting me in gramma mode lol ❤❤❤ P.s. I had a Graco and was 💯 happy. I had my 2 back to back and that one graco worked for both lol. At one point my mom in law got me a consignment double single file stroller they could be laid down in or sat up in. I sat up my toddler daughter in front and laid down my newborn son in the back. You adapt as you go ❤

I don’t know if anyone has said this, but I had bought a fancy stroller that converts as they grow. Honestly my baby preferred to be in a sling instead. I barely even used the stroller until my baby was about 18month old. That’s when I used the stroller like almost everyday until the age of 3-4 yrs of age. So don’t rush into a stroller just because you’re running up on your due date, you ll have time, plus you’ll find it hard to put baby down at first 😉. I’d focus on a good car seat first. Anyway food for thought! Congratulations and enjoy the journey. It goes so fast, my baby is now 15 already and it stills feels like yesterday when they were a baby. 💚

STROLLER IDEA!!! The stroller I’ve considered buying for a future baby is the wagon type strollers. They are good for the infant seats and can be used as a bed to lay the baby down with out the car seat. They are also perfect for multiple children and or pets (I want one that I can have the kiddo and the senior pupper).

With my first I was not the mom that went out on walks every day, and did all the fun activities. When I was pregnant with my 2nd I thought “for sure this time.” Nope. It was too hot in the summer to take a ton of walks, also postpartum is so exhausting, you’re sore and cranky and tired. So take that in to consideration. Definetly get a stroller that will last you into toddler years, that has good space underneath for storing things, a snack tray is very useful. And get one that has good wheels that push nicely. The one we got is so nice. It’s from target and it’s the Chico? The..thing you put up over the baby to block the sun can face like all the way front and back so that’s nice.

Hey I’m a mom of of 2 my youngest is 15 months and my oldest is 3y. I had the Graco with my first . It works great and no complaints I’ve used it with the second as well and just had to buy another car seat so each kid could be in one. When I had my second I actually got a wagon instead of a two kid stroller because by that time my big boy was wanting to get out and walk a lot but I also liked the option of being able to strap him in if we were in a hurry. There are a bunch of all black options. There’s room for neens and other kids as well as bags and coffees and everything you’re gonna drag to the zoo or playground. So I like having the stroller and the wagon for options. Ok the end. P.s. it’s ok to put a wagon on the registry because lots of times groups of people who want to buy for you but don’t have the money can all pay a portion . My work girls did this for a new mommy recently and she had most of the big things taken care of by the time baby got here.

As an old Mother..I have soon to be 12 and 14 year old boy's. I would suggest getting strollers and as many expensive thing's as you can second hand. You have to get a new carseat because of safely regulations but save your money for other thing's for your son because he will grow incredibly fast. I honestly didn't use a stroller very much.. so I wouldn't stress on the stroller situation. I pretty much got everything from FB marketplace, secondhand store's, Wal-Mart and the like just because of how fast kid's grow and how hard they are on thing's. I'm excited for you and hubby on your new journey and love that your family is growing.. having a child is the greatest experience a person can have! 🖤✨️

Any brand you buy just know- the safety standards are the same whether it’s Walmart or Neiman Marcus. The safety regulations have to be the same across the board so don’t let sales people guilt you into spending more than you can afford. We have the Gracco with the Chico car seat that clips in the car dock and transitions really easily to the stroller and we’ve loved it. Sneaking an infant from the car to stroller by keeping them in the car seat was awesome, and the cover kept it so dark I hardly used the tube sleeve cover. Never once felt we had needed a bassinet. Plus the Gracco has cup holders for you and snack tray for baby, vs needing to buy a separate attachment. Also, if you return baby items (strollers/car seats, etc) stores aren’t allowed to reshelf them to sell again. They go immediately to the trash.

Okay. I have 3 boys years 2, 4, 9 and I’ve had many strollers, most expensive stroller was 1400$ Quinny to 300 evenflo pivot. I would suggest graco Uno to duo. It’s small for one baby and then you pull the bottom out and it turn into a big two seat stroller. You do have to buy both seats but you can get the other seat once second baby is in tummy. Also all together the stroller and chairs are 400. They do have it in black and the charcoal part is charcoal.
