I loved the cinematic quality of this video especially. Your opening shot was great. Loved the overhead shot when you were fitting the door slab (9:00 mark-ish). And blue skies, before the ominous clouds. Great update!❤

Thank you, Andy for taking us along with you in this project. Even as I sit here in my easy chair watching you, I feel a sense of relief when the bubble is centered, and I gasp when the dog steps across the threshold over freshly pored concrete.😊

We call those rains "our afternoon dust settlers". It's just enough rain to wet everything down and cool the afternoon heat. Beautiful night sky. It makes such a huge difference not to have city lights conflicting with a perfect star view.

Your holding tanks are in. The roof is beautiful and walls are stabilized. Now, you will have the doors and windows in. All dried in, and ready to work inside, for the rainy winter season. GREAT JOB!

I love your intros. You camera work and editing is really quite polished. Considering you aren’t a builder you do everything so skilfully. I just love watching how you complete a job in an organised and clean way. Your work ethic is such a credit to you. Anyway enough praise 😊😊 … really great movie to pull the old structure down, make it a little bigger and start again. The whole structure looks solid and sound. Well done Andy. Hope it gets a bit cooler here on. I am in Poland at the moment on holiday, heading back to Australia on Thursday and it is very chilly here. Crack on Andy!

I am amazed at the heavy work you are able to do, in the heat and sun of Portugal. It is better to get this done when you are young and strong. I could not do it now. I can't even bend over to plant garlic today. So glad you can lift the weights and your hips and knees can do the bending.

Wow! That really made a big difference! It looked very much like all your hard work of checking the levels so carefully will pay off. I enjoyed seeing your comparison of the color and tone of the door sills plus the terracotta tiles with the overall look of the surrounding landscape. Of course, you're right, and I'm sure it's going to look terrific when you're done! Thanks for letting us see how you do what you're doing! Fascinating and inspiring! Best wishes.

I think it's not marble, in Portugal it's called "Pedra-Sabão"... "Soapstone (also known as steatite or soaprock)" in English perhaps? I've seen how easily he cut those pieces and chamfering them.
