Good day Marvin, usually when a lawn mower, generator, weed Wacker or any little gas engine equipment that is left for a while unused with fuel in it will have problem starting; why because the "additive that is mixed with the gas breaks down and gum up small moving parts in the carburetor! good job in getting the generator running.
