"Nature doesn't stop growing just because of the fear of a future that may or may not happen, it blooms and thrives and does what it can with the time that it has" So true... And most of the time we forget that we are nature too.

The fires have been so bad here in northern Colorado, it did stop before it got into the area of my cabin, but it saddens me when I think about the loss of trees and wildlife. In this video, you narrated, "Even the busiest days require slow moments," and at first I thought, "ugh, if you have the time," but it is true. Even when we are super busy or feeling late and in a rush, that's when we can make such a mess of things at home or on our way out the door- only to hurt our time right there and then or in the future cleaning up the mess. Nothing has to get broken or spill, in that rushed moment, we may just cause a "mess" by loosing things or by forgetting where we put something we'll spend far too much time searching for all because we gave in to that rushing and late feeling. Even when we are in a hurry, we can run, run yet be just slow enough to be thoughtful and considerate. 2:09 🌷✨

Thank you so much for this beautiful video. I've just discovered your channel on this past week and have been watching so many of your videos as a soothing tonic. I've just stayed up late with my 7yo son who couldn't sleep and needed some together time. After lots of chats we settled down to this video and he loved it and asked for more. (Another day! as it's very late at night here now). We live in Devon, England. I also want to thank you as seeing your videos prompted me to open an etsy shop for my drawings for the first time ever. So just as you announce you're closing your shop for now to make way for time with your son who is soon to arrive, here i am opening mine now that my boy is old enough to be well settled at school and allowing me to sometimes have time to myself to be creative ( although I'm still very busy with his younger sister who starts school this sept). Seasons in life change and i wish you all the best for this btw adventure that is about to begin. You've already taught me a lot about living slower and today i lingered in the spring sunshine watching the clouds, letting myself just be, after 7 very intense years feeling like my attention was needed elsewhere.
