Thankyou for sharing your video great work beautiful doll,when I got my hair cut like 8 inches off back in 2009 I saved my hair and put it in zip lock bag and put it in a drawer had it over the years,and so the other day I ordered a reborn baby offline and when I received the reborn baby their was a big bald spot in the back of the babies head and so I used my hair that I had back in 2009 too fill the bald spot the cool thing was my hair was the exact same color has the reborn dolls which is light brown it blended in really good

I'm not currently working on any silicones, though I made a few minis in the past. If you're on Facebook, there are some really good groups full of people who make silicones professionally. They really don't like giving tutorials, but they will answer specific questions and issues that you run into in the process. They helped me a lot when I was working in the medium.

That's a great question. I know some folks have managed to glue loose hair to reborns. I think some of the Ashton Drake dolls are done this way. I prefer to glue hair that is attached to something - either a weft or a wig: kzbin.info/aero/PLY0D7_fO0RBdjaSLbny9PkznoOuZIn_wQ

I have all my pony tails hidden since I was 2 years old. Some are 70 cm long, last is 90 cm long, so if I take them and treat them even if they are old like this, can I use them? If I can I´m gonna make me a long, long hair toddler. Is it different to root a baby and toddler or a child? Thank you for your videos I have learnt a lot.

Thank you! It sounds like you have some very precious hair available to you. There is an exhibit in the Yale Art Gallery that contains some of George Washington's hair, so hair does not degrade over time. LOL You can use them and a good leave-in conditioner will help keep them hydrated on your doll. Rooting techniques are the same, regardless of doll size. The difference is hair density. In order words, a child doll would probably have much thicker (more densely rooted) hair than a toddler or infant. Good luck!

Thank you, for life hair I use coconut oil about 2x weakly and than when I wash my hair I only use gliss kur, so I´ll wash them and use leave in liquid silk.
