^^^ This, but the heavier the material would be better since its a one off, make it last. dont even have to be a snap, it can be made to fit with a bungee or other tie down solution so nothing needs to be actually attached to the cage/body, and it can stretch over the sides/back too. Most people do not realize how much water gets in, Finnegan and Freiburger from Roadkill taught me that :-P

Since they have a Holley setup, whoever is riding shotgun can sit there with a laptop and dial everything in on the fly as they drive. Mike Finnagan managed to get ~16 mpg highway out of a 526ci hemi with a 10-71 blower on it using that strategy. Cletus should be able to do at least that.

That's why dyno-tuning your doggos is a good idea :) they always rack in good numbers, AND they don't have rods to throw or bearings to spin... just give 'em a treat, do a pull, maybe change their diet a little to richen or lean out the mix and run again... Oh... don't forget to add a borkpower plugin to the dyno software or it won't register properly :) Holley is easily a 4500 borkpower doggo.

Also one can use old used tires without rims [or with rims and aired up tightly, but then you need a high profile tire that will expand enough to give the spacing and yet collapse in enough to allow enough room to pull them out] to take up space and limit travel.

You can also fabricate some rods with heims that you can put on the suspension with pins so the suspension can't move. quick and easy, but you have to mount them to something solid so they don't fatigue your parts bouncing down the road.

Chris Goree I would have to disagree plenty of guys run without hoods. Also plenty of people have there ecu in the engine bay with no hood. Weather pack makes a quality water tight connector. So a downpour will not kill the electronics unless off course the connectors are not properly sealed

Yeah, i was thinking the same thing... It almost looks like it would fit under the cage... They would have to make a cutout for that one bar to the drivers right. Maybe a rubber slot in a stock roof that would slide around that bar and snap in?

Build a mount on the back of the trailer for the parachute. It doesn't have to be functional but it would be funny as hell to see a 7 second dunes buggy pulling a trailer with a parachute on it.

Put the car on blocks or fabricate suspension lockouts so it cant bounce in the trailer. If you flip the down/uppipes side for side they would point down and you could run lake pipes with mufflers for street use.
