It's pretty cool. I've never rented, but have friends who've used it and had great experiences. You get a much more tailored experience, compared to a rental agency.

I can't wait to hear about your first funny Turo renter experience! They can be intense lol. I have 5 cars on Turo with a Power Host because I couldn't handle the bizarre things that would happen anymore. Just make sure you aren't attached to the vehicle!
