Preparing the base for a slightly crumbly finish [Zokei-mura 1/32 Shinden J7W1]

Looking at the few photos of the actual aircraft, it looks like the paint is peeling off quite a bit, and considering it's a prototype, there are a lot of panels that are attached and removed, and I think there are a lot of opportunities for people to walk on the main wings.
We will consider undercoating to prevent chipping and fading.
However, since it has a machine gun, it is not a prototype.
