Stephanie a tip for baking: When you take your cakes or breads out of oven after 10-15 minutes cooling, take the pan and tip it on its side and leave it on an angle to finish cooling. Rotate sides every 5 mins, and use things to prop on side so it doesn't fall over or on the floor. Then, when you go to take out of the pan, it will come out with ease.

OMG! That was fun. I can't wait to see how Bonne Maman turned out. Philip couldn't possibly have dressed the windows too. Wonderful to see Amaury busy at work. If only he had something to keep him occupied at Lalande. Unfortunately, we'll probably never get a glimpse of their love nest. He such a talented artist, but very modest about his many gifts. I'd love to see Nattie's personal style, but I suspect that will not happen either. I guess I can't blame them for not wanting their personal lives, away from the Château, exposed to the world. The flowers from Stewart and Patrick are so pretty. They're such thoughtful guests. I love their vlog too. I really think we'd get along quite well. There were several familiar faces around the dinner table. It's nice to see everyone back at Lalande again. What a beautifully laid table it was too. I can't get over how much more I love the new green chairs. Marie, the meal looked and sounded scrumptious. I'm really curious to try the fried Jerusalem artichokes. I'll have to go back and see if you mentioned how they were seasoned. I'm so glad Vivienne and Simon were able to join for most of the repast. Yet another Châtelaine whose vlog I love. It's so much fun to see what little lovelies she come up with for her online shop. I hope everyone enjoyed the Château swap. What a delightful assembly. ❤ from TX!

I love that Nati and Amaury keep their lives private. As it should be. It takes a lot of guts to open you life, home, like Stephanie has. Stephanie is doing a fantastic job in highlighting restorations in the chapel and her Chateau. She brings out the best in people. I like that.
@rayn87409 ай бұрын
I don't blame Nattie and Amaury for wanting their privacy. People can be really awful, and narcissists abound on social media. Brooke Shields said recently that she just stopped reading comments on social media. Brooke has been famous since she was a small child and still hasn't built up enough calluses to process the evil comments. For me personally, Amaury is one of so many interesting people that have passed through Lalande. Occasionally, like tonight, they come back. In the case of Amaury, he's still working at Lalande, but there are always ongoing secret projects that we don't see until it appears on British Television. So he's on a time lapse and there's no witty banter. Because Amaury can be quite sassy. I miss the 'Care Bear' moments. That scene was one of my all time favorite CD moments, Amaury explaining his Care Bear sweat stain. Who would not want to see more of that guy? I loved his camaraderie with Daniel Preston. Those two almost matched the magic of Dan and Stephanie. I can't say I'm surprised by Dan's KZbin success. He does have his own power of attraction. I don't begrudge them their privacy because they really help Stephanie out enormously with Lalande, freeing her up to entertain and enlighten me and many tens of thousands of others. I just find him delightful, foul mouth and all.
@snoopybluejeans9 ай бұрын
@@rayn8740 - Not sure what you're yapping about . Both Nati and Amaury are paid employees. 'Care Bear' sweat stains, turns you on? You need help dude/dudette. I'm seriously getting annoyed at these flaming fairies, trying to control the narrative in what they perceive as normal behaviours.

It's easier to marble the cake if you put about the size of a baseball of one color then the other next to it, and keep repeating that. Use a knife to pull one color into another. Then if you have more mix make a second layer on top and pull the colors into each other on that layer

Absolutely lovely to see all the other chateaux owners again - and all dining round a beautiful table. Also, those are beautiful beds featured today. Phillip and Amaury work so hard - still shifting furniture🙃. Do they move furniture so often because you are short of it, or do they just enjoy it?🥰 One asset of all this movement is that it refreshes the energy of the chateaux each time you do it - keeps it alive - yaaay! And I love watching Phillip's artistry and pleasure in putting a fresh room together. They always look so lovely.
